This car looks incredible! Gorgeous!!! They should absolutely produce this it would sell like hotcakes. Finally a GOOD LOOKING DESIGN from BMW. It's been too long! Would love to see this design filter down to the other forthcoming models.
BMW will build 50 units of this 8-series-based targa-top crowd stopper and sell them at half a million dollars apiece.

They have been making good looking cars. You’re simply the minority as their cars are everywhere on the road.

Unbelievably beautiful! BMW, please, do your every car according to this design style! No huge grills, no ugly headlights or any other strange elements - just like this! Really hope that new generation 8-Series will be based on this concept. Thank you, BMW Blog! ❤

And, we’re back. Well done BMW. This is stunning. You couldn’t mistake this for any other manufacturer. It borrows heavily from the past. I really hope some of this design trickles out to their other vehicles. The front and rear look so clean and unmistakably BMW.

Love how the instrumentation is designed to fit in the dash. It’s got incredible personality with modern functionality. That’s the balance that needs to be in modern day vehicles. More BMWs need to have this personality .

I love it! So elegant and klassy inside out.
For gorgeous concepts like this one we need to normalise crediting the design team. This is art and it's a shame the artist isn't here to tell us about it.

The 2010 era BMW design is back! And not soon enough, in my opinion. And the interior cockpit shape with buttons should have never went away.
Clean, elegant design. Very hard to find today. Stunning car in a stunning setting. The presenter looks like he works in a hardware store. Love the Corvette C3 t-tops and flying buttresses.

It’s so great to see a smooth flowing design back. Love the curves and the flow of the body work and that front and back is amazing. Please let this be an inspiration for the design language moving forward. Can you imagine a 3 or a 5 with this kind of front and back? Obviously not as high end as this but echoes of this design would be a real return to classic and elegant BMW design full of sporting prowess and potential.

Finally, this design goes back to the BMW design we used to love, and which BMW has let go over the recent years. I LOVE this design, and I am hoping we will see more of the typical BMW designs we all love, unlike the cars they have been producing over the recent years.

This feels like a final send off for classic BMW design given it’s based of an 8 series rather than being an all new car. I doubt we’ll ever see anything like this again.
Why? It already looks like an electric car.
It looks nothing like an EV look at the proportions, it’s just a one off reskin of a 8 series. The hood is that large to have an engine in it. EVs will follow the Neue Klasse concepts.

It’s a magnificent machine. As many comments here it’s been years that a BMW didn’t get me excited like this one. I really hope that it gives the tone for all the next designs to come, we need this those lights and this front on the whole range.

sadly it won't be affordable since its a coach built concept over a production 8 series underpinnings meaning that is a chance that only 50 units will be made and cost 500,000 euros.

Stunning! I am not a BMW fan but I have to admit, it really is beautiful and I would see myself driving it. The manual roof is not much of an issue for me. Storage space is limited but my wife says it’s not an issue as Louis Vuitton shopping bags will fit just fine.😊
