My friend is moving to my house, using Mayflower Transit. The truck will arrive at my house March 28th.

Robert Irsay was usually drunk by noon time. He took a once great franchise, and ran it into the ground. The Colys didn't become good again until after he died.

The Baltimore Stars moved to the old Colts Complex after the USFL's Lawsuit, Mayflower moved them, but mostly the players got their gear for tryouts elsewhere.

Johnny Unitas was so livid with the way the move went down that he cut ties with the Colts and told the Pro Football Hall of Fame not to display any Colts memorabilia unless they were specifically Baltimore Colts. Also many people in Maryland, particularly here in Baltimore boycotted the Mayflower Moving Company after that move. It wouldn't be unusual to see giving Mayflower drivers the bird.

The Colts have now played in Indianapolis longer than they did in Baltimore.

Somehow the Colts were STILL more successful in Baltimore than they have ever been in Indy despite that 😂

And the name still makes zero sense and never will for Indy. The name Colts is from the Baltimore horse farms and the 150 years running of the Preakness Stakes in Baltimore.

They should have left the Colts name and taken the franchise. At least the Browns left their history in Cleveland when they left for Baltimore.
    Nevermore...

The Hoosier/RCA Dome looked like any other NFL venue in the 1980s and 1990s..The Colts were rumored or might move to LA in the early 2000s..Peyton Manning got the Colts to win a Super Bowl championship in 2006 season..The RCA Dome was last used for the Colts in 2007..Lucas Oil Stadium opened in 2008, and that became more of a marketable stadium to host other events..LOS was the house that Peyton built, and that is true..Anyway, Lucas Oil Stadium has hosted multiple NCAA Final Fours, one Super Bowl, B1G football championships, B1G basketball tournament, NCAA Tournament games, soccer match, NCAA lacrosse, and the college football championship..🏈💺🏀⚽🥅🏙

@@mach6893 really the only ones who haven't are those Baltimore fans over the age of 45, I've got friends who are in thier mid 20s- early 30s that live in Baltimore and Maryland and are die hard Ravens fans, they don't get it because they recognize without the Browns relocating and renaming they wouldn't have a team of 'thier own'.
The Colts have played longer in Indy at this point than they did in Baltimore, it's ridiculous, and many Ravens fans I know too will contend that the Ravens are superior to the Colts and despite a 12 or 13 yr drought that they suffered without a team that they came out ahead in the long run, 2 Super Bowl Championships in 25 yrs vs 1 for Indy's 35 yrs. Also the Colts coming to Indy helped bring more attention to it as a city, seems almost to be a wash at this point
