little tip if ur far in the game, just breed tons of shadowbeak which is first of all great, if u got useless ones withh bad stats, just butcher them they will give u this book too but u earn 2 points
Or increase the droprate and butcher 1 over and over with the unlimited butchering glitch.

lol, so it means that you don't need to skip anything in a tech tree to save up your points and you can basically unlock everything cause you'll get enough tech points eventually to unlock the whole tree. thanks for letting me know
But that also begs the question....what's the point of spending points on the items you get blueprints for....their better and you dont have to unlock the item in the tech tree to use it anymore. It frees up ALOT of points. Between the freed up points and the manuals/fast travel points you get pretty close without having to grind these too hard.
@@USUCKATPVP you're right. despite this fact that you can unlock everything when you grind enough, of course it's a reasonable thing to do to spend out your tech points on things you need more than the other. I didn't unlock everything myself. but it's a comforting thought, that even if you spend your points cautiously and you still somehow manage to not have them in the later phase of the game, you still have an option to get them anyway. imagine you have this knowledge that points are limited, so you try to unlock only things you need, but still in the end it turns out, that you don't have enough to unlock sth important let's say on level 48 for example. It would be devastating. another example... what's the point on those furniture sets or other plants or carpets if you can't use them, cause you need to skip them in order to unlock more important stuff? If tech points would be really limited, this crap is irrelevant, but now I can make my base prettier without worrying, that I am wasting tech points. besides, I didn't finish the game, so I don't know exactly how numbers look like, so I can't do the math, because I also don't know how many points some technologies require.

@@USUCKATPVPThe blueprint schematics cost a lot more resources to craft and require ancient technology to REPAIR, which sucks. But after you have enough resources then that doesn't really matter either.

You can find high crate technical manuals also in dungeons in dungeons there's a chance you can get two or three or one
yeah don't ever set a base on one of these islands......completely screws spawn rates
