Ring of Mercy only works for your attacks. If your Pal attacks when you are not riding it, it will not count those attacks as part of being with the Ring of Mercy. For Example. Anakin uses the missle barrage without you riding, pal/person dies. If you ride Anakin and use the Missle Barrage, it will use the Ring of Mercy and keep the HP at 1.
this mean that Shadowfreak has the mercy hit passive? cuz it attacked a bunch of times but didn't kill the targets, just brought them to 1hp
@ActuallyAFungus if you are riding Shadowfreak and have a multi attack then yes you can bring multiple targets down to 1 hp at once
Not to mention that passive damage from being on fire will still kill even with the ring, which Beam Comet and I think Dragon Meteor can inflict.
@foxbird123 yes passive damage like fire or poison ignores ring of mercy, good point that I forgot to mention
I think the rule of thumb on it is while you have it on you cannot directly damage anything below 1HP. So direct attacks, ranged attacks from you specifically, or attacks performed under your command (such as while riding a pal) cannot kill anything. But things like your own pal's attacks, other pal's attacks, your teammate's attacks, fall damage, fire damage, poison damage, and explosions from environmental hazards can all bypass the limitations the ring has. It's not YOU specifically dealing fire DOT. It's a separate source even if it's from one of your attacks, so because it's not you dealing damage, the ring doesn't work. It's a weird niche equipment that really only works if you use something like a sniper and have electric or freezing debuf stuff. Fire and Poison damage while freeze and stun help your odds in capture, but if your pal's running rampant then the ring also has good chance of not working......so it's really an oddball thing you kind of have to either force to work or just live with that it's not going to give you the value you hoped it would have.
Jetragon EFFECTIVELY drops circuit boards. It drops the two components, so you just have to craft them. It's also quite a good gold farm at the same time, since the diamond it drops pays for more than the ingredients to make the cake
With the Pal disassembly machine we can basically convert cakes into high grade items. Breed high loot Pals and grind them.
The ring of mercy just apply to the USER damage, you are wearing the ring, not your pal. Therefore his attacks don't count as yours, the pal can still kill even with the ring of mercy. If you are mounting it, it counts as your damage, so the ring of mercy effect works.
If you want to capture something, or you mount your pal, or you call him back. Otherwise he will definitely kill before you capture.

The big chest can spawn in one of 4 places at random, and the defenses don't reset until you open that chest. As far as I can tell the smaller chests don't reset til then as well, but I could be wrong.
All the new humans added in this update can learn Pal skills. My “Pal Tamer” I tamed doesn’t summon their own Pals now, but he implodes. My Ronin and Genin do sand and fire tornadoes and spit acid. I’ve made elemental benders thanks to this update. You should have a go.
Jonins are supposed to be seniors to the genin ninjas. Genins are supposed to be like cadets where they are not exactly full fledged ninjas. Jonin are usually the the highest position of actual "ninjas".

I think that the reason the ring of mercy doesn't work is because it only stops you from killing enemies, not your pals.

From observation, it seems like the Ring of Mercy only affects the player and mounted Pal's attacks. Pals that you are not riding don't appear to be affected.

Dot effects will kill through ring of mercy. And dont forget dumunds in ranch give pal oil as well

I’d recommend getting the refrigerated crusher, produces much faster and about the same amount also allows for pal spheres you don’t need to be turned into palladium

if you want your pals to not kill things while you are not mounted on them you need the mercy hit passive on them
Did you make a pal that boosts player stats? If not then you should and see how much damage grenade launchers can really do
There is a healing potion of sorts but its kinda annoying to make. They require the glowing mushrooms you find in dungeons and they don't seem to be effected by loot multiplier settings. (its newish, not this last big update but the one before it). Lyleens ability will also heal you. 2k hp at 4 star.
What do you use the assembler for anytime? There’s a rare from when you kill something because then you just put it into it putting the dissembler and it has a way higher chance. I think it’s actually guaranteed.
It's not guaranteed, or higher chance. The disassembler is the same as butchering a pal, just faster.
Would honestly like to see more of this and see him take on more oil rigs

Sometimes i feel like blitz understands the ring of mercy, other times it feels like he doesnt.
About your comment at about 16 minutes in the video. There is a healing potion, it is made with cave fungus at your electric medicine bench. Also ring of mercy does not apply to pals you are not currently riding.
I believe they added a more efficient crusher. It uses cooling pals if I'm not mistaken. Haven't looked at it yet.
its nice. crushes all your lower tier spheres for paldium fragments as well. the better the cooling level of the pal the faster it goes. so use frostallion.

They need circuit boards so that the missile knows where it is at all times. It knows this because it knows where it isn't. You need to breed up powerful pal with the mercy hit trait for capture framing, and wear ring of mercy which only works on your character. That's what I do.
btw you can farm kill medal merchant for around 30k gold and you can then go to the village and buy flame organs or eletricity inf money and organs
you can catch the humans up in the frozen snowy lands and they have a chance to drop circuit boards. I caught a whole bunch the other day and I got around 15-20 circuit boards by putting them through the disassembly machine as well as from catching them, so it was almost like double the amount. Also the Ultimate Sphere, to me anyway feels like the same as a Legendary Sphere, just different colors, plus the Legendary Sphere is way cheaper than the Ultimate Sphere.
I'd also think it would be funny if you made an all-human team. have them whatever you want them to be, same with passives skills and see what happens.

You need to start stacking a few 4 star gobfins with vanguard. 20% for the 4 star, and extra 10% for vanguard. EDIT - This is the % boost to your attack.
Also, the ring of mercy only works if you are mounted on the pal. Otherwise, you'll need a pal with the mercy hit perk.

That's like saying ninja are a reference to Naruto. In reality, it's the other way around, Naruto's ranking system is based on real life ninja, and Palworld is referencing the same thing Naruto is, but Palworld is not necessarily referencing Naruto.
