Yeah, this. People seem to refuse to accept that this was the GOAT of dunk contests. MJ & Nique' was huge because they were stars of their generations, and VC was amazing because he was so innovative, but these dunks took what they did and added style on it to make it fresh.

Gordon is not doing the contest next year I believe. Shame he was robbed. He had some GREAT creativity, power, and cleaness in his dunks. It’s bad but wasn’t that bad because the players and everyone was thrown off at the judges . All the dunkers except jb was looking confused and was blown away. Mac said he wanted to give out what he actually had planned but instead played it safe to win. And based on that first dunk he definitely had some shit planned but the judges just threw him off and messed up his momentum . No way they were that amused by basic ass jbs dunks. Because they don't compare dunks to others, if you saw lavines dunk first without seeing Gordon's previous one than u would probably agree it's a 50
If both the gordon dunk and the lavine copy dunk are the same rating than that just proves how broken the rating system is

+Mike Hawk You can't repeat a dunk that you yourself have done before, but it's not like they make up these dunks in the spot. So if two people have the same dunk the judges don't count off points for it
