I had Stevens Johnson and TEN almost 6 years ago and it still effects me today. Thank you for the videos and bringing awareness to this disease.
I was diagnosed with SJS at 34 weeks pregnant. I’m 38 weeks now and recovering hopefully my baby girl will be ok ❤

Thank you for this information. A doctor prescribed Cefalexin 500 to me and one day after using it, i started developing rashes on my face and they are now extending to the other parts of the body. I have a sore throat, headache and backache. I stopped using the medication but the effect does not seem to go slow. Could this be a symptom of SJS?

I get Steven Johnson in 2012 and imma still with the symptoms I lost this part in my tone and I can't hear with my left ear and I have a lot of blisters all over my body because they're never gone is no cure for Steven Johnson. The skin in into my mouth and my lips every to week or every two week is gone it's coming you but it's going to again I lost all my hair and terrible is, you never taste again the food it's like you're it paper even you can taste the water. And my eyes always is dry I'm star lose my vision 😡😡😡😷😷😷💔💔💔😞😞😞
Same here 2014 my life changed ! Now after a 4 years my eyes are really bad because it’s extremely dry the surface of the eye is practically not functioning . All this Cos of penicillin!
Ok, that's your wife, yall make a beautiful couple. But anyway. That was very informative. The medicine that I was taking was called tromidol/acetaminophen.It gave me a itching,burning, rash with mucous membranes in a particular area. That I assume would be Stephen Johnson syndrome Thanks!

I’m going to tell you it’s been five weeks at Children’s Hospital in Little Rock Arkansas three weeks of it was in intensive care so I had the worst case scenario of the Steven Johnson syndrome and let me tell you buddy it’s not pretty and it’s not fun I lost my vision because of that crap and you know I tell anybody if you’re allergic to any type of drugs find out so you’ll know not to take them drugs I didn’t know I was allergic to sulfur and it was in the drug called Septra DS that I took for bronchitis and strep throat that is not fun they had to shave my head and my hair was all the way down to my knee I was 12 years old scared to death it’s not a fun thing thingh
