What a Blessing. Hoping the grandkids will enjoy as much as this 76 year young old man. Raised our kids on Little House books starting in 1979 on our little farm in NW Ohio.
The ending of this is so very heartbreaking, their baby son dying and then the house burning downâŠ.poor Laura! đ
You just ruined the entire story ...

While glancing at the video, the comments rotate, that particular comment was the ONLY one I saw, I wasn't reading comments.

Iâve never had that happen so I canât speak on that. Truly though, it wasnât my intention to ruin anything. I made that comment after listening to the video. Iâm sorry for spoiling the ending for you, I really am.

Just so you know, people who put spoilers in the comments add a warning, and put the comment far enough down that you have to click "read more."

Cherry Jones is fantastic! â€
I knew that pre-marriage agreement would go by the wayside.

The cows frozen in the blizzard would have been butchered back then. There was really nothing wrong with the meat as it was frozen.
In that book, only the cows' mouths and noses were frozen. When Pa got their heads up they all ran off.
Isnât meat spoiled unless the blood is drained right away?
Laura didn't watch Rose very well.
I would have kept the meat from those cows that went over the cliff. It was frozen no doubt so there wasn't anything wrong with it.
