With a bike, the ability to stop safely at higher speeds is substantially reduced compared to a car. You will also want to take into account the ability to react. One watching a video, can replay the video and be prepared for what’s coming due to seeing it before. When it’s real time, you don’t have that luxury. Sometimes increasing the speed to get out of danger is the safest option.
