What I really appreciate in your vlogs chef is that you mix Tagalog and English for your audience…I’m still learning Tagalog and Bisaya, since being married to a wonderful Filipina :) We will be in the Phils soon and will try to visit your resto in Manila…keep up the awesome work and entertainment. We will be running around in Luzon and Mindanao visiting the fam. Maybe we will run into you. 😎
Good chefs can make up recipes randomly with what’s available at one moment. Pag minsan may tinatanong siya, he’s just really thinking aloud while in his mind naiimagine niya if that ingredient or flavor could blend well. Kabisado na niya ang flavors and how the result. Well, at least, that’s how I take it. I actually love it when he’s so real , hindi pormang laging nagmamagaling. Hind black and white, he plays it by ear.
I noticed it, too, because I like minimalist style. But to be fair, flats in the Middle East are smaller in size so you tend to accumulate clutter. In their case , I think JP has a lot of stuff that are essential to his job and lifestyle-as a chef and for his camping. Actively use them on almost a daily basis so not practical to put in storage.
I think, since a good friend of theirs is the interior designer, they tend to just respect her work. Even if they don’t necessarily like it. But I noticed that Kitty’s style tends to be maximalist. A lot of colors, knickknacks, plants, textures, fabric etc A cluttercore.
Just my 2 cents. I like some of your vlogs but I think it is rude to feed your guests late lalo na may mga kids. Pwede cguro magluto or magvlog ng mas maaga or serve them appetizers para hindi malipasan ng gutom. Syempre guests will say it’s all okay, but really it’s not.

Parang everytime chef cooks, parang he's always unsure..
But chef JP's food was truly excellent. We sampled Kooya here in Dubai, and it's truly delicious.
