ps3 green light then turns off.

PlayStation 3 is super slim shutting off by itself.
After it shuts off the red light goes out.
It's completely powering off with no red light.

Impressive video like always keep posting, glad to see a super slim blackout issue fixed this is very common problem on these machines and most of the times nobody can find whats wrong. Some people had success by reballing CELL but its a hit or miss and considering the cost and effort its not worth it.

Wow i didn't know that mosfet controller could causing the issues i have encountered super slim have the same issues ... I can't fix it now i know I will check the back of the boar takyou somuch for the great education video

Hi there! To determine the correct resistance for coupling resistors, it's best to refer to the schematic or service manual for the device you're working on. These documents will provide the exact resistor values. If you don't have access to a schematic, you can sometimes measure the resistance of a similar working unit for comparison. Feel free to reach out if you need help locating specific resistor values. I've managed to remember about 80% of these values myself since I don't have any schematics.

@@idreestech Hello! Thank you for the time and the answer! I will try to find a working one. very seldom they print out the values on the schematic. The problem I am facing is the ps3 comes on for about 8 seconds then turns of without making any beeps, goes compliantly dark, if I press power button it then turns red, and press again it starts for 8 seconds. So it does not return to standby mode, it "dies" when I plug in the power cable it goes into standby mode... well I will just have to scratch my head some more. Thank you for the info and helping video !

Hello! Today my ps3 super slim when i tryed to start it shut down it self with no red light power buton.I disassembled it, removed the bios battery and put it back, reassembled it and then it worked perfectly. I don't know why he made this problem!

It's important to compare the values using a motherboard that is exactly the same model.

i want to ask you a question : about a slim 3000 model i cant seem to fix green light for 2 seconds then off (2 consoles the same problem )
i tested all the power supplies (12) both sides of them feedback voltage present and found them in order and all the coupling resistors for the peripheral chips and the cpu and gpu all tested good and also the oscillation for the southbridge coming from Ethernet chip are good
but when i tested the gate on the mosfets for the cpu the resistance is too low tested a short when i switch to gpu mosfets the gate tested ok no short then the resistance back to normal no short - i cant understand why ...have u got any idea of what's going on ....
