  • After my last video Bill called me and explained that the part I thought was broken is broken, but it should not bear any weight so it bends or not it's not the problem, just a symptom. The tensioner is just there to show you the position of the nut on the swingarm. After some discussion we discovered there were two real problems. First, the axle nuts were not tight enough so the wheel could slip around with enough force. Second, the chain was too tight and it was the combination of this and the nut tightness that caused the problem.
    Some notes about the video.
Near the begining I put a bolt behind the swingarm, I know it doesn't go there :) I put it there to illustrate that it touches the swingarm directly, no washer or anything.
Later in the video I start calling the swingarm the driveshaft. I didn't feel like reshooting the video, so just try to imagie I said swingarm instead.
Super huge thanks to Bill for calling me and being exceptionally patient in walking me though everything. Also thanks to my brother who called me 2 minutes after Bill to tell me that my axle nuts must not be tight enough.

All the parts are there, more or less. Looks like I was missing the adjuster on the right side. I put everything back together without any adjusters, but I will put both back in when I get my new ones from dratv.com She is running great!
