I was fortunate enough to be in the youth team at ross county/1st team bench as a goalie when derek was up for a few months, he wont remember me probably but he was an absolute gentleman in his time up there and always had time for a young player, even just a chat. Big respect to him from me and he hasn't seemed to have change. I Enjoy watching him. Big PK, what a player, lost a bit of pace shall we say when i was his teammate but all he had to do was a wee drop of the hips, create a half yard and he would whip it in. One of the only players 8n scotland who i saw that could take a corner with any foot and whip it in. Lubo, paul kinnaird and andy mclaren, the only ones i saw who had that in their locker

Great to hear the stories on Budgie! He moved out to the Gulf (Oman) in the early 2000's. I was at school there and he came in to take our school training a couple of times. He's from Workington, West Cumbria and from some of his posts on fb I can see he's still wired to the moon haha.

Thanks guys for talking about that Jambo joke penalty, what VAR is exposing is referees not being honest but more about their livelihoods. He was swayed by the home crowd and bottled it knowing the reaction of the home support , this is even more blatant when playing the old firm at home. Any close decision will go there way because the intense scrutiny if the close decision goes against them it will be all over TV, newspapers and other media outlets putting pressure on themselves and a threat to their livelihood. If this disgusting decision was made against Rangers or Celtic it would have been on the front page of all the newspapers, Scottish news and debated to death, probably even come up at the Scottish parliament. Not joking. This is the 3 rd absolutely ridiculous decision hibs have had to suck up in recent weeks. SFA even apologised to Hibs for Martin Boyle getting fouled in the box against Celtic and booked for diving . They admitted it was the wrong decision. Little known fact..
