  • A very pleasent and rewarding 3.5 mile walk completed in 2 hours - perfect for a picnic and to get back before the school run.
Although its not obvious on the map, Great Crag has two almost equal summits - as I found out when I got to the lower summit first. Doh!
I started out in January 2024 after a new years resolution to get fit and hike the 10 highest peaks in the Lake District - quickly to learn that I won't be doing those peaks this year, it just wouldn't be safe. (I had a desk job for 44 years and keeping fit was walking the dog.)
BUT I can just about get up the middling fells and "bag" a few #wainwrights on the way. So far I've achieved 21 of them, the first few I didn't video and some were family walks that I didn't post to the 'Tube'.
Additionally, I intend wildcamping on some of my walks - the first of which I was very lucky to be out during the May Aurora Borealis seen all over the country.
This is my thirteenth video and as i'm writing this I've got thirteen subscribers!!!
PLEASE consider a subscribe and get me off this inauspicious number!
I'm sure the quality still isn't great (I'm trying to get better honest) but I'm learning all the time - could I ask you to leave a comment on anything I could do to improve?
Anyway - thanks for watching, Cheers.
    Jeff.
