      @elenastrauman9576 Před 15 dny +1

      I am going to add some additional perspective to this. Right now there is a huge crisis in animal welfare. People are dumping their dogs right and left because so many got dogs during COVID not thinking about the fact that they were going to eventually go back to work. It is not uncommon to be away from home 9 hours. Not everyone is lucky enough to have a job that they can come home during the day. If we want people to keep their animals we need to encourage people to make better choices to stick by their animals. We can second guess their decisions all day long and try to counsel them to make responsible choices but if they already own the dog, we need to try to get them to keep them.

He let me move his bowl or put stuff in it if I was adding something. I didn't push him, I didn't linger, I fed him, got him situated, may have given him a quick pat & an "ok buddy, go ahead", but after that I left him to it. You must be hard of listening like LaToya 😂 What she said was that you shouldn't get a dog if you're not prepared to meet its needs, which is what she says on virtually every episode. LaToya is clueless, selfish and immature, that's like 95% of the problem here.

    1:41 I do need to point out that this is an incredibly smart move on her part he wasn’t listening to her and in previous episodes Victoria has specifically said to people when training your dog for recall, try running away from them a little bit so that they have to chase after you it makes it more fun for them and makes them want to come back to you. She literally did this technique that Victoria has taught other people without even needing to be taught it which shows me that they do somewhat know what they’re doing. It’s just they do need a little bit of help.

    Victoria is right: Latoya is a natural! I wouldnt be suprised if she started some helping others with their dogs after that! Never seen an owner be so good immediat3ly on the series. Maybe its her true profession and it was some mutual instinct of hers getting that dog that also seems to love learning. Of course leaving your puppy likethat is notto be excused, but most owners of misbehaved dogs seem to hate training and seeing it as a nasty nessecety but she acts like a pro training that dog! Only thing she needs to practice is patience and trust the process. They are a great coupleand be just fine.

    Now anyone who works a normal job cant have a dog? Bs. I work fulltime+ with a very active dog. 10mile runs in the mornings. I check in mid day on my lunch break the days im in the area and if not I have my adopted mom check in. However, 8-9 hours he can wait because every other moment he is with someone. However he doesn't ever go unchecked. He also goes on a car ride to our ptsd therapy 4 day's a week with me and two walks at night. Plus daily yard play and house play with myself and my children. ❤

    That baby girl doesn't just need to keep him from being around children until he is trained, I sincerely hope that couple does not HAVE children until they (well, at least she) grow up them (her) selves. I can just imagine the scene in which she says (possibly to a social services rep) "Well, I mean, I just, like, you know, wanted to play with him when I got home (whenever that may be), and, I mean, like I KNEW he, like needed food and, you know, like, medicine, but he's so CUTE with his little naked bum! And it makes me sad when I can't spend time with him because, like, he has to like, be FED and stuff..." YIKES!
