Brilliant video Max! Awesome Nikon camera! Those CCD sensors are great. Looks like you had fun with it and 8 MP is a good enough. Give yourself some credit! You are slowly becoming a full fledged photographer and don't be afraid of putting the camera into AV mode or experimenting with ISO. Thanks for sharing!
Thank you glad you liked it! Yeah I do believe with time I will experiment more with modes and settings to achieve specific images and I've been shooting film a fair amount lately so i'm always up for a bit of experimentation 📸🤩
Nice one, i like the shots of the three people walking on the mud flats, bait diggers by the looks.
Thanks, Yeah I believe so! they had a shovel or 2
The "feeling" from this camera's output took me back to being 15 years old and discovering my favorite band - Boards of Canada. A state of mind I thought had eroded away with time revealed itself after all those years, somehow perfectly crystallized. Thank you for sharing.
Oh wow I love Boards of Canada also! You may like an artist called “Ross from friends” he makes some really interesting stuff 🤝
I also have Coolpix8800VR.
This was what I purchased in 2004.
I really like it because this camera can take a beautiful picture of the distant landscape.
Recently, I often shoot using smartphone SHAP R5G.
Watching your video, I'm thinking of shooting with Coolpix8800VR.
Yeah it’s still surprisingly really good must have been a flagship model in 2004! Hopefully you do take it out for a spin again 📸
I have an 8800 with the adapter ring and telephoto converter … looks like a beast😂. Ordered a battery for it and will see how it goes.
Omg would love to see that thing 😂📸
@@CameraNostalgiaClub well let me get it fired up and after I’ve played around with it awhile I can send it over for you TJ check out

Another great video yo.
Thank you so much really appreciate the support on the vids!
Amazing review
Hey thank you so much I truly appreciate it :)
Nice video, i want to buy some "old" camera, but in my country its hart to get it.
Thanks! I suggest checking out second hand shops or eBay if you have them if not you may have alternatives :)
What is the best camcorder you have ever seen?
In all honesty all the JVC and Sony Handycam range are great and would recommend but the Panasonic HDC-SD1 is next level and my personal favourite from this time 📹📸🤩
How do you deal with older digital cameras and dead/stuck/hot pixels? Any camera made before the years 2010 seem to all have this sort of problem with colored pixels sprinkled in the jpeg when I transfer them to my laptop.
Just curious to see how you deal with this problem.
Hey not all of them but certainly can get the ones that do, I've had a few with this issue. Some models actually came with a setting to target and eliminate the hot hot pixels but others didn’t so you'd have to work around/edit them out :(
I have thousands of pics shot with the 8800 and it’s sibling 8400. Never noticed dead pixels.
did you colour grade any of the images or are they just raw from the camera? :)
All raw from the camera! I shoot on automatic mode for this reason 📸🤩
Where can I get the en-el7 charger?
I normally get mine from eBay and Amazon!
How do you get your photos printed or to your phone.
Hey I have a video on my channel explaining how I do this 🤝
Hello! Great vid! Are you using a normal EN-EL7 battery? I need to find a replacement, but I only find EN-EL14 in my zone, not sure if i can use it... Thank you!
I’m so sorry I sold this camera some time ago now so can’t remember the battery model 😅 there may be a forum out there with answers! Thanks for stopping by 📸✨
I can smell britain through the screen
