My father in-law had an ‘07 Accord EX-L sedan with a 5-speed and K24. He was the only owner, but it was totaled due to someone hitting him. It was a great car. Best of luck with your K-Swap!

So the 4 cylinder has the 5 speed and the v6 has a 6 speed. If you grab a K24 and then come across a 6 speed then you’ve got the ideal swap combo? I’m not near VA but it might be worth the drive to get a JDM engine. Are you going to stick with the ODBI again. I’m considering skipping the H22 and going K24. If I could keep the dash gauges working and gain the diagnostic data from the ODBII I think that’s the ideal way to go.

Well, the 6spd from this generation Accord was only available for the J series V6. Only the 5spd would mate up to a K24 which has longer gears vs the TSX/RSX 6spd transmission. The car will have to run on OBDII since its switching to the K platform and the computer system thats needed.
