Nevada tops national list of 'ambulance deserts', fire and EMS officials explain response

  • As the Clark County Fire Department (CCFD) says there are almost 200 ambulances in Southern Nevada responding to medical emergencies, a new study shows much else of Nevada is considered an “ambulance desert.”

    I live in the central part of the state. Other than a clinic that handles minor things the nearest hospital of any size is 210 miles away.

    Good grief. It’s a 45 minute drive to the nearest hospital where I am in Vermont right now. Coming home next year tho.

    You blocked everything and never made wide enough streets or alternative routes you built casinos right next to each other and then had the audacity to make a race track hope these patients sue the city for negligence!
