Just discovered Batya Unger-Sargon, she is amazing!
She is not.
It is refreshing to see smart, educated, young people actually call attention to reality. Instead of having an echo chamber of America bashing Wokism.
The 2018 Yale study was extremely mind opening; the roundup at the end detailing the many ways the Left and Right have traded places was brilliant. And what a lovely personality as well. Thanks!
Batyan was on Ben Shapiro and said some interesting points. Not sure I agree with her economics but her assessment of the media is pretty spot on.

Fun, interesting interview. Batya sounds a bit like Dave Rubin, before he spoke with, national treasure, Thomas Sowell, Larry Elders, etc. Her book title sounds a bit like Yasmine Muhammed's Unveiled: How Western [loony] Liberals empower Islam. I no longer watch mainstream media. Watching a few minutes of FoxNews (when Tennis channel is on commercial break), I've noticed not only Dave Rubin, but also people like Glenn Greenwald, Bob Woodson, Rob Smith and a few other surprise guests. Indeed, we are in the midst of Woke-induced moral disorientation... nothing wrong with conserving values, liberalism and common sense, irrespective of political bent.
For a mature person, both AOC and Candace Owen are half-baked who have a lot to learn. But Owen has an appetite for learning (among others, the racist, deceptive past of Dems) and debating, while, to the tune of $164K/yr tax-payer's courtesy, AOC has become the quintessential Salon-Marxist. Like Marx himself, "the urine is traveling to her head" (becoming narcissistic).Shocked by his late life popularity, Berni Sanders, too, has lost his grip. C-Span, BTW, should still have B Clinton, Obama and Schummer talking--passionately--for border controls.
Many journalists, are, somehow, in denial of what you learn in Biz school, Publicity 101. "Journalist" is just a modern day for "publicist". In democracies, only 10% - 15% of the media is investigative reporting, Matt Taibi's style, the rest is publicity. Not necessarily lies, but agenda-driven publicity. Gov is always the biggest publicist. In totalitarian and Theocratic countries, 100% is publicity. "And that's the way it is," as Cronkite knew and used to say.
I came to this channel wanting to hear Batya after Russel Brand mentioned her, and this was the first substantial video that came up. Glad I did, for not only did I get to hear Batya speak, but I also found a new channel to subscribe to.
I’ve been seeing Batya making the rounds, I really hope she’s as nice in her everyday life. She seems genuine.

Great interview! I’ve just recently come across Batya and although I don’t agree with everything she says, I very much respect her.
I consider myself center right (aka a bigoted alt-right white supremacist to some people), and I SO appreciated voices like hers!!! As a “minority” myself, I’ve been skeptical about how we’ve been used in leftist politics.
When the host at 3:54 said "the young white progressives on Twitter who are really advancing the most radical left wing...," and couldn't come up with la mot juste, I think the word he was looking for was "garbage.'

People pose as being anti woke constantly now, but does she have any criticism of feminism? I'm sure she doesn't, it's cosmetic.

The problem is that she uses the term "woke" as if it meant the same thing to everybody. To really talk about the problem with "woke media", one really has to mention the different ways that word is thrown around. Any time you're using a word the same way ted cruz uses it, you're doing it wrong.
The only thing funnier than her horrible viewpoints that get dismantled is Matt’s choice of hair.

@@cosettapessa6417 I think the channel does have some control. I don't know what degree of control, but definitely some. This video was one after the other, I never experience that before so maybe it was a fluke.

Batya is doing great but should probably tone down the white savior crap relative to Black Americans. A bit disturbing was her observations about AOC's prancing around with the worlds new fascists. That was tragically naive.
