Yes, initially there will be bugs, things won't work the way they're supposed to - but that's how it was when OnePlus One came out. Improvements to new products are incremental, but they will eventually happen. Nobody's FORCING these guys to use beta versions of updates.

      @rahulopg Před 2 lety +1

      @@shardulmandloi as far your point of improvement over the period is concerned then generally YTs don't base their reviews how it will perform in future. They only review the devices as they find it coz only that will give them views.
      Moreover, the long term reviews are a thing of the past now. Until n unless a reviewer is really impressed with device they won't do a long term review

    Flagship meaning is not about only chipset! It’s a complete package.
    We as consumer should stop buying craps.
    One plus is fully focusing on hiking prices without offering important good things like camera, software, IP rating, latest Corning glass protection etc.
    2022 is the end year for One Plus if they don’t play with aggressive pricing.
    There is no point in spending 45-50K on a crap which offers nothing but just a latest chipset.

In a bike showroom, in his housing complex etc. It's not in a studio with perfect lighting and weird objects thrown in to check the sensor's capabilities. Most regular users will capture regular photos of their loved once in similar regular backdrops and OnePlus just butchers the photos.

    Galaxy S21fe has a S tier camera quality which is made to compete with big dogs like pixel 6 and iPhone 13...I don't think oneplus 9rt is anyway comparable with S21fe in camera department .
    Btw nice job as always sir.

    Selfie video in OnePlus was looking better. But it doesn't come as a surprise that S21 FE is better overall in terms of camera.

    Personally, I jumped off the Android 'flagship' bandwagon this year because that term is (now) only associated with the annual cycle of 'flagship' SOCs (a complete marketing gimmick, in my opinion). In reality, as a person who never games on his mobile nor runs any intensive applications, I'd rather have a phone that has more 'quality of life' features and improvements.
    For people like me, an upper midrange processor (like on the Pixel A Series phones, or the Samsung A Series devices) is sufficient - especially if that comes with a good camera and battery life.
    We are at a point of diminishing returns wrt processors and RAM. My nearly 4 year old Huawei P30 Pro stills runs smoothly (despite no android updates for almost a year - and no real future outside of custom ROMs) and has a great camera (although not a good video camera) - and I'm almost convinced that my upgrade this year is going to be a Pixel A Series phone or a Samsung FE device (or maybe even an iPhone, if I'm willing to shift to the Apple ecosystem - simply because of the longevity, software support, well rounded camera, and the 'buy without worrying' experience of owning iPhones).

      @yashg5 Před 2 lety +1

      I am thinking the same. I have a 3 year old Poco F1 that still runs just fine despite being on Android 10. I think we have reached a stage where phones can’t really be improved in a meaningful way. If you don’t game on your phone which I absolutely don’t, the added RAM and processor doesn’t add much value. In fact upgrading to an iPhone after using Android for over a decade seems like a distinct probability only from long term ownership perspective. They don’t seems to be making value phones of the likes of Poco F1 or earlier Nexus devices.

      I'm on the same boat. I have a honor v10. 4 years I've used it. Ran pretty well. Still runs well. Used to game on it too. Not anymore. PC is the way to game if I do anyway. Thinking about changing the phone rn, cuz display got shattered recently. Don't know if I need the fastest processor anymore.

      @@sohankonar9744 Agreed - specifically with the gaming bit. If you can afford a gaming pc, then that's the way to go (especially with services like Xbox Game Pass). Otherwise, a console works well for most people too who are on somewhat of a budget.
      Mobile gaming was never my cup of tea. I grew up with consoles (playstation mostly) and just moved to pc gaming in late 2021 (for the value offered by Game Pass).

    Really good video, thanks for this, I was not expecting this from OnePlus...Samsung is doing great in all situations, yes the front camera is better on Oneplus but I hardly use it.
    And I liked the sound quality on Samsung, it's way better than oneplus.

    I personally don't like the cameras of the current smartphones, especially the way they have been processed the images, they looks very artificial and oversharpen. Back then nokia lumia 808 & 1020 had done a great job, photos taken by these smartphones were supposed to be like the actual objects placed in front of u thats how much real they were.
    it would be better to give single big, well optimised primary camera instead of 4,5,6... cameras.

    • @stanleysandeep
      @stanleysandeep Před 2 lety

      Yep, you're right. I blame the social media more for this though. Companies have no choice but to tune their image processing towards that over processed artificial look...
