When looking at batteries and electric cars you want to know:
the drive range on a full charge
The charge time on a class 2 charger to get to full charge and the KWH used to get it there.
The number of times the battery can be cycled before it only has 80% of new capacity.
How much power the car uses at 15, 30, 45, 60, 75 MPH.
The rated voltage and Ampere hours of the battery and horsepower of the electric motor.
Your local electric rate
With that you can figure out at different speeds $/mile, Watts/mile, battery charge efficiency and power loss per charge as well as estimate longevity for specified use.
And of course most want to know how zippy the time is 0-60.
Do a side by side with this and you will know the value of your propulsion and battery system as well as expected electrical life.
I really think if they double or triple the drive circle on plug in hybrids most people will be nearly off of gas with nightly charges. You don't need to go pure EV yet.

Also just because it's called Infrastructure in Washington, D.C. Speak doesn't mean bridges, roads and construction. If you are in charge of it you can call it anything you want, not what it really is!
