First time i choose Triss, the game kinda lead you to her, because Triss is the first stop in Novigrad, but man, when i got to Skellige... what regret
When I first started I intended to take Triss, then screwed it up, went for Yen - never gone back
@@diogopachecomatheus Other way around for my firstplaythrough. Triss is sweet and caring whereas Yen is complex and fiery. I just prefer someone who doesn't hide things from me or treat me like a puppy. I read Blood of Elves and Last Wish. Still Triss all the way.

Honestly same, (Spoiler alert) I felt so fucking sad when I saw what happened at the end of the siege of Kaer Morhen, I honestly almost felt the same way as Ciri

But I Read the books, and Geralt loves Yennefer more than anyone.

historical events are not boring, never, it's history, me i like history because there is many feelings about them. If i play Hearts of iron 4, i play for history first, after maybe i could change, but history is always better. :p

I was 3 years too late with this game. I've just completed the Main Quest and Hearts of Stone.
The Witcher 3 has surpassed The Last of Us as the greatest game I've ever played. It was an absolute pleasure playing this game. In an industry which has money grabbing publishers like EA, whom ruin the quality of its games, we are blessed to have developers like CD Projekt Red who put such an effort into The Witcher 3 like developers used to do back in the day
Caldor3 better late than never man, this is my favourite game series ever. It’s never too late to play them.
I was too, but now it's at a point where it's so loved and appreciated that everyone likes it as much as we newcomers do. I was blown away at well written the narrative of Hearts of Stone was, as well as the limitless things you could do in the overworld.

Shortly before this moment, he was sleeping with Fringilla Vigo--so I don't think she minds if he has sex with other women. She wants his emotional fidelity, I think--to be the only woman he loves. And it's actually said that he called out her name while with Fringilla. So when he says he only thought of her, she can read his mind and know it's true, and she's satisfied. So hunt down whatever prostitute you want!

She's definitely very much a protective mama bear. I love that her battle powers, in the game, are protective powers/related to shields.

this game has set a bar that's hard to beat. i've never been so involved in a story or romance the way witcher pulled it off - the party sequence with Triss and knowing i'm soon going to have to make a choice between yen and triss - dayum!
This is one of those unforgettable moments in gaming, let alone The Witcher 3

Yen is the clear canon choice
This is the only fitting theme for a love story as beautiful as Geralt's and Yennefer's. It brings me to tears every time. The scene captured in the pictures the video plays was so well done. Between their love and the pure evil in Gaunter o'Dimm, not to mention the heart wrenching Baron quest alone, the Witcher 3 surpassed everything, raising the bar far beyond anyone's reach for the time being.

On my first playthrough, trying to get good ending, choices, and doing everything I can with side missions like this one. This scene was so pure and well done, I'm glad I went with Yennefer, mommy n daddy togedahhh
for geralt it was hard to gain trust for somebody...his mother left him early ...yennefer never thought someone could love her the way she is...its destiny written they have to be together
Yennefer is such a wonderful character. Never manipulated Geralt, never betrayed him, never used him. She's loving and willing to sacrifice everything for those she loves.
But I know so many are blinded because she doesn't kiss your feet in the games. But now instead of insulting her and her fans go and reload you Triss romance. Shut up and be nice. Says a lot about people to come to a page with Yens song just to write they don't like her.

in all seriousness, when you listen to this music, it seems too soft for a character like yen. try mixing it with her yells and it wouldnt work too good. btw, i chose yen on my first gameplay and triss on second.

You should be a bit more precise with you accusations.
Did you pay attention to the story of the game? There is a difference between working together and using somebody. You can't just go around and accuse somebody because you don't like them. And when you call _that_ using then I'd like to know how you call Zoltan asking Geralt to get his cards or Triss seducing Geralt, the man of her best friend, with use of magic while Geralt and Yennefer were still a couple.
And really if you're talking about the books, dooming and reducing their lovestory to "IT WAS THE DJINN THAT MADE HIM LOVE HER" (which is not true. it is clear that the word "love" was not involved neither anything else that would manipulate feelings) or "SHE USED HIM" (yes, this world is made of greyshaded characters. Geralt as well is greyshaded, I understand that some people forget that because they think the character they play is always the knight in shining white armor, but when you then have read teh books especially _'The Last Wish'_ it should be more than clear.).
And BTW he asked her to cure Dandelion which she did plus she send him to help Geralt and took all the blame.

Oh man, this song is so peaceful!! I listen to it when I'm home, in the morning drinking my coffee and looking through the window, watching the sun....
I really loved these two. I felt empathy/sympathy with Triss, so the choice wasn't easy. Yen' s sass didn't help. But then, I dunno maybe because I have black hair, maybe I saw my own flaws in her character or maybe I just liked their opposite attract dynamic, I don't know. But at the end...I'm glad I chose Yen for Geralt.

The voice actress did a great job of showing that she's more emotionally aloof and shielded than actually mean--her job at Kaer Morhen is to keep up a shield, after all. She's at her snarkiest before reunited with Ciri, so I think it can be explained that she was testy because she was worried about Ciri.

Said no to both silly girls in the main quest, but my love interest from my very first playthrough of the first game came back in an extension and I couldn't resist her. This is what this theme reminds me of. Of finding her again when I least thought I would and losing her again because of my choices in the first game. She didn't want to be hurt again and I can't blame her.

I first chose Triss (never read the book, only played the game) because she was the girl (W1 and W2). She is so lovely and sweet so I romanced her in ''Now or Never'' quest. I now regret it so much. Yennifer may seems like a bitch at first, but you can see Geralt really love her. She's the girl. Because I already romanced Triss, Yennifer isn't an option anymore (i didn't want to finish alone).
''Last Wish'' quest was so heartbreaking. I felt like dumping my girl. You can see Yennifer was genuine hurt :(
I feel you, because that was pretty much exactly how it went for me. Never thought I could care so much about a love decision in a video game, but this one really got me once I realised how deep their bond is. It's just like you said - for someone who hasn't read the books Triss is easily the way to go cause I've been with her the whole time in W1 and W2 without knowing there was one hell of a woman before the amnesia ;)

+Cosmic - Chris they first meet in the "last wish" story arc in the first book (more of a collection of short stories) I suggest you read it. However, be advised that you should probably reread it at least several times since it has many layers to the story and what seems as straightforward can be interpreted in many many ways :)

But so is Geralt, I find them a perfect match for each other because on the fundamental level, they are both broken at their core, seeking to somehow get whole again. They also perfectly understood each other ('s brokenness) only a couple of hours after they first met. Example of how difficult Yen can be: she 'charmed' Geralt into going around the town to slap/beat anyone who offended her almost getting himself killed :)

It’s weird that I associate this with Triss, even though I’m Team Yen
Romance option with Triss is boring. She is good and all, but somehow I feel there is no magic , no sparks on screen with them. While Yennefer and Geralt have a lot of chemistry. Triss is so defensive and always a bot formal whereas Yen don't need those things.

In my oppinion the in game version is the best, the spotify one ends right when the good part is supposed to hit

This is where I turned down Yennefer directly. I just felt that she was a bit too much of an asshole. I thought Triss was always the more fun option that wouldn't give me shit like Yen does. BUT, after reading the books in a way i regret that decision. Yennefer always took care of Geralt and now every time I think about that decision I made on that snowy mountaintop, I feel a bit bad. But hey, it is just a video game
