    Although I sometimes struggle to eat enough but just enough to keep the fat low and still build muscle, I’ve found a way that works for me and my body. I love food and I love to cook! No diets, no calorie counting - just enjoying my food and keeping it delicious & healthy!

    That's what I'm saying! That feeling of restriction is guaranteed to make you fall into a binging bout. I simply make sure that my first meal is a huge bowl of veggies and then I eat whatever I want which ends up being almost nothing because I'm so full from the veggies. And whatever I do eat after will make up my calories for the day because the calories in the veggies are next to negligible. If your diet compromises mostly of veggies, you can be sure you're not overeating so no need for keeping track of calories. I would however recommend counting calories if you're a beginner just to learn to how to guage how many calories certain foods have

      I do the same thing. Whenever I try to restrict myself or fast, I end up eating a bag of candy and messing up my whole day AND my skin.

    I’m glad you make content. It’s rare to see women with a body type like mine (shorter torso, long lean legs, larger hips and glutes) & it’s really refreshing to hear someone say DONT RESTRICT and genuinely find balance, Especially hearing it from another black woman. Hearing you say that you eat carbs and you eat what you want is really nice.

    I agree diets don't work, and you shouldn't restrict yourself, I try to eat 80% healthy and allow myself to eat some tasty stuff every now and then.
    Working out in a fasted state helps your body create more HGH (human growth hormone) and that helps you build muscle. I've been working out fasted for months and I'm fine I think I only felt weak once but when first starting out in a fasted state that can happen.

    i just started my gym journey and i was feeling bad with myself for having breakfast around 11am-12pm since i'm not working yet but this gave me the motivation i needed it! thank you so much for making this videos and teaching us to not be so hard on ourselves. It's a long journey and the least we can do is be patience with ourselves

      I think our bodies actually like having time to wake up and get into digestion mode. I’ve been thinking about starting light morning workouts and then having breakfast.
