No one expects a 40 year old man to have no past relationships. Most would find a man that age with no experience strange. No children? I lived in NYC and found plenty of childfree men my age (mid-30s).
Plus, she was critical about his baby mama situation. That's irresponsible as hell. It's no wonder why he opened up with "everyone's damaged."

Her horrible drinking was the first red flag. The second was ordering something expensive when he was paying. What horrible behaviour! She should either have one drink, & stop, or, if she can’t do that, *zero* drinks.

@@beckstyles3467 it is considered courtesy and polite when someone else offers to pay to try not order the most expensive dish in the menu and order a bunch of expensive drinks. Also drinking hard drinks and getting intoxicated is a huge turnoff. She had 3 shots that is a lot of alcohol.

You know what, yes she was arrogant and judgemental in the beginning. But few people are able to self reflect and be honest about their flaws or wrong behaviour and apologise. Nobody is perfect and those qualities are hard to find. He does have two baby mommas so he probably did things wrong too in the past, but he also tries to improve himself and be the best dad. So, honestly, I think she deserves another chance. She definitely learned a lesson. And girl, don't be too hard on yourself. Trauma can cause you to be defensive and hard on others, but also yourself. Be kind.

Dating is for teens and young adults. It’s not for 40 year olds and divorced parents with a bunch of baggage. I say that because what tends to happen is women and men have too many expectations and experiences. Basically, to start the date she was hyper judgmental as most women are. They get in their own way. He has lots of kids so he has to understand that women will wonder why.
