The Amazing thing is that Carrey Actually played Robotnik as a very capable and threatening bad guy. Most of the time the bad guy in a movie like this is a bumbaling fool. But Robotnik was actually very competent and an actual threat and not just a JOKE. You actually felt like he could in fact WIN against SONIC. That his plans to take over the world could in fact happen. This might be the best Bad guy Carrey actually played.
I don't think he wants to take over the world. He just wants everyone to be as reliable as his machines .. .. oh, that's where his idea for Badniks comes from.
I think he already take over the world or at least take over usa, it is not normal when the general say at the end movie "he never exist ".And in the first scence of robonic some general talk about the country that no longer exist.

Jim Carrey definitely put in at least 50% of the value in to this movie. This generation needed this movie because for 1. My favorite videogame character of all time, sonic, can continue to live on in this age. And 2. Jim Carrey will show kids why he is indeed a legend instead of kids having to look up his work. Hopefully this movie will make them want to see more of him

He has always been great, but I love him even more now. He is so authenticly himself. So enthusiastic about life. He inspires me.
