The Chiefs do not need to trade up in this draft. They sure as hell do not need to target a specific wide receiver. This draft is receiver and offensive line plentiful/heavy, so it is perfect for the Chiefs. The Chiefs need to take the best receiver available with their first pick, and get another receiver in the 2nd or 3rd rounds. If I was KC, I would go receiver with my first, second, and third round picks, as long as they were comparable to whoever else was available. Two of the three will probably work out to some degree, 1 will probably be a stud. The KC receiver group sucks after Rice, so some investment is needed.

I feel Toneys problem is psychological. If he got his head right he'd be an excellent receiver. He has the talent. The guy confuses me. But, you're right; Toney needs to be gone if he can't be trusted.

@@hairball7529 Yeah, the guy does not have his head on straight, so to speak. The thing is that the Chiefs would have to eat his salary for this year if they were to just cut him. I think that they may give him another shot at returning kicks. They will at least keep him as competition during training camp until cut-downs unless he does something insane. I think that we all have lost faith in the guy.
