One more story. In further addressing my severe allergies, I went to see a doctor who was middle eastern. Before I uttered a word she walked in and told me I was having issues because I was drinking too much soda and eating too much red meat. I needed to lower my blood pressure. I stared at her and flatly said ‘I’m a vegetarian, I have exactly 2 sodas a year, and I suffer from low blood pressure. This bias is contagious…sometimes minorities who consider themselves white adjacent, treat black people the same way as racist white people.

This is the TRUTH. Also, I notice most medical staff are these people and they DO NOT Listen or respect what we have too say. I had one female to say to me when I requested another medication because the common one issued was too strong, she said how many medical degrees do I have. I got up got dressed and I wrote letters too every administration medical association, hospital administration, even too some local news medias. I left notes on bulletin boards too patients, especially the black women soldiers and veterans. I said I would make it my mission to look out for US. I do see after some time when I do use this service, it is getting better with those doctors since it seems they dominate the field. We just always have too say things when we know something is not right. Get up and get out if they ignore you, have nasty attitudes in your care. These medical issues are real.

I've had three of these doctors, (1 Asian), almost kill me by overprescribing drugs! One even knowing that I had been taking the drug called me in two days later. Asked me if I wanted an ambulance or do I want to drive myself to the ER. This doctor prescribed a drug that made my blood pressure skyrocket!! Notice too that he should have told me to stop taking this drug when he called me two days earlier. But instead he allowed me to continue taking a drug that was extremely dangerous to my health! When I got home I checked the drug. It said I should take no more than 500 MG, under any circumstances. What did this racist fool give me 1500 MG. BTW, he was ASIAN. So you have to watch them too...

I told her if I feel pain, I'm going to make noise. She threatened me with rescheduling my appointment with another doctor. I didn't report her, but in hindsight, I should have. I'm a senior person now and demand better treatment whenever I feel I'm not being respected. "Patient Advocate" is who you ask to see if you're ever disrespected by medical staff. She was actually the worst the white nurses fought for me listened to me when she was ignoring what I was telling her( note this was my 3rd child 2nd c section and my eldest child have been on this earth longer than she has been a practicing doctor) yet she was so dismissive and totally ignorant 😔 💔 . The white nurses spoke up for me . She was even trying to push me to get my tubes tied ( note I was 37 and only just had my 3rd child, my eldest was 16 years old .I had her at 21 then 2nd child at 28) And she was acting like I've been having children like stairsteps since 12 years old

I had a dentist attempting to pull an infected tooth and it was causing me so much pain and he tried to argue with me that I was feeling pressure, not pain. Then he sent me home with the tooth half-pulled. I asked my grandma if having her teeth pulled had hurt and she said only the one that was infected, they gave me antibiotics, had me come back in a week and pulled it, no problem. This guy never prescribed me antibiotics or another appointment. I just had a tooth half in my mouth for months with puss oozing until I saw another dentist for something else, he saw it in my mouth and was shocked the other dentist didn't prescribe me antibiotics and pull it. He finished the job because it was half out already. It still hurt like hell, but it was over and he didn't gaslight me and insist the pain wasn't pain. And he also prescribed me antibiotics. The next time I went to get a tooth pulled (the filling the first dentist did destroyed the tooth), I was in absolute terror given how much pain I'd been in before to the point I made even the dentist worried, but it had to come out. She pulled it and I felt NOTHING. I almost wept realizing it could have gone that smoothly had they taken the proper steps.

I am a black nurse who worked for a black doctor for 10 years. I generally did not have this problem. I have had patients be referred to a specialist and ask the nurse to make sure I get a summary and than call me for an explanation. Bottom line they don't trust your and you don't speak their language. Another reason could possibly be that many black people literary don't understand what you are especially when using medical terminology. So often we will have a friend or family member who is a medical professional to explain it.

But if there's anything that directly affects white people, they won't mention it. They will make it an everybody issue instead of an individual issue like they call out black people,For example, the whole milk campaign in the 90s was dedicated 2 white people because they suffer osteoporosis at an extremely high rate. Yet most people of color black Mexican asain ect are lactose intolerant and don't suffer from Osteoporosis at a alarming rate..

She’s white (not that it matters really) and though I use to be a certified Med Assistant, it’s been decades and I don’t know everything. The one time I didn’t call her, my allergist prescribed a medication that causes suicidal thoughts and had in fact been recalled. I took it for 2 weeks and noticed I was having these thoughts, and my brain would kick in and say, this is not you. I called my friend and we looked up the medication and found out it was bad. Called the doctor…she never called me back, never said another word to me.
Yeah…I keep my friends or daughter on the line.
Even further back, my nurse choked me, while I was in labor, until I blacked out. Texas Womens Hospital in Houston Texas. Was a white make nurse, who took me from my room, off by myself. Cut open my gown, then choked me. I convinced myself it didn’t happen, until my bestie said I told her, almost immediately after I woke up after they brought me back to my room. AND he would not let her come with when he took me.

He is well within his right to ask, but he should ask his patience instead of the internet. We need a witness. We are not treated well. I just went to a white doctor where his clinic was dirty AF. He got annoyed that I told him I wasn't pursuing him as my doctor. I got back on the phone with the VA and told them that they need to do better when they select doctors. I was in boot camp and had to get a leep and the doctor didn't give me anasthesia and went at my cervix with a laser and had the nerve to shush me, when I screamed. His excuse was, "I didn't have a needle long enough to reach your cervix". Since then I hate using the VA, I try not use them if I don't have to.

He knew the answer, he's just chasing clout. As a medical professional for 21 years, if he truly is a doctor, there are a couple of thick binders located at the nursing station regarding the facilities policies, standards of practice and next to that is a thick book about cultural competencies. It's talks about every culture, using a holistic approach regarding their practices, possible reactions to pain, and cultural practices during death. So, he is clearly lying

I unfortunately live in Texas, not born here, but my dad was transferred here, so. I can tell you first hand Texas , especially here in Houston with the biggest Medical centers etc. is the worst when it comes to POC i the hospitals and ER not just by the Caucasian community, Indian, Asian, etc. there's probably 5 % that you can trust in the entire state.

Crazy as it may seem unfortunately I was blessed to have white doctors that actually wanted to do their jobs but then again some black doctors who didn't do their job very well and was incompetent and completely tone deaf but then again I had some beautiful black doctors and nurses that went to bat for me and did the work to save my life. Yes medicial apartied is real but just remember it's not just yt medical professionals it's our own kind not all skin folk is kinfolk

I think the question was Genuine coming from HIM.
But keep in mind it's a question coming from a people who always felt they didn't HAVE to understand anybody else in the world. The world is all about THEM, so why care about anybody else? This is like a brother or sister in your immediate family who is always the favorite or the Golden child. They will receive all sorts of privileges and favors, but notice how they NEVER speak up for how the one who ISN'T the favorite is being treated. They have no concern. They only have concern when THEY are not treated the way are used to be treated and thereby perceive their FAIR treatment as unfair. I've seen this over and over.
JUST as now when we are trying to make things fair and equal, they think they are being discriminated against and CAN'T understand the issues of POC. They dont really care, because they never HAD to care.

Let's start with the fact that his question is disingenuous! That's very disconcerting and disappointing! However, it's not surprising because we've walked this road before.
Secondly, Jessica Pettway, a CZcams influencer, recently passed in part due to medical apartheid; and there was also a CZcams video showing a Bl🖤ck child who was being treated for some kind of ear injury by a yt doctor without numbing agents. The poor child kept saying, it hurts bad but the doctor ignored him and continued the treatment without once acknowledging the child's pain. The Mom finally had to ask the doctor to stop and use a numbing agent to numb the area before he continued.
Third, at one time or another a BP, I and my family members included, have been subjected to medical apartheid.
Moreover, some BP do so as a form of protection and evidentiary proof in the same way that we instinctively turn on our video recorders during traffic stops by LEO and interactions with yt folks!
If he has a problem with that then he's part of the problem.

Lawyer and judges swore and oath to the BAR association to practice law.. you wonder why there is no true justice in the country… doctors and nurses swore and oath to treat not heal. Medical practice! What’s worse is that the treatment you get is based off the insurance you have…you have to be careful of the contracts you signed with them via law enforcement, medical exams, etc…the system keeps a file on everything you do and sign. If you have medical insurance take time out and read the contract.. remember we speak English but the contracts are written in a Legalese. So get a Black’s law dictionary and interpret what it is saying… yes there is medical racism going on in the medical field, American history proves that. Smallpox in the blankets of the indigenous peoples of America along with medical practices on black peoples with science without telling them..
