- Two million years have passed since human begins first came into the world. Now the earth faces a crisis. Suddenly the Boazan Empire starts to invaide the earth with a huge force that comes from somewhere for off in space. Their attacks are so strong and violent that the Earth Defense Forces are being beaten everywhere they attack. In Tokyo, where the headquarters of the Defense Forces is exposed to the danger by SUPER HORNET, monstrous robot sent by the Boazanians. The crisis is avoided with Voltes V, the super electro-magnetic machine, developed by Dr. Armstrong whose where abouts is not known and its crew-Steve, the first son of Armstrong, Bert, the second son, Little John, the third son, Mark and Jamie.

waktu itu saya umur 7 tahun nonton video voltus 5 sekitar tahun 1983, ibu saya dulunya pembantu rumah tangga, saya diajak alm ibu saya ikut di rumah tuan dan nyonya di daerah rempoa bintaro beliau tuan dan nyonya punya putra tunggal seumuran saya jadi saya selalu menemani aden nonton video voltus, ini merupakan pengalaman yg berharga dlm hidup saya, semoga beliau tuan dan nyonya dan putranya den roni panjang umur sehat selalu. I watched this anime together with my sister when i was 6 years old... in beta max cassette, and my mom only allowed us to rent the movie during weekend
@@ariefpoerniawan I saw it when about 5-6 y.o luckilly, beause... well this kind of movies not that easily played on TV now. They will complained about the violence and killing. lol
It was back around 84-85 if im not mistaking. Im at the same age.

Voltes V was the first anime I watched and enjoyed in my entire life, when the tokusatsu series were at the height of popularity in the late 80s and early 90s in Brazil. However, only a compilation of episodes was shown in that country. I am happy to finally be able to watch Voltes V in a full and official way.

Film ini pertama kali nonton tahun 85an saya masih SD kls 3, masih pake video betamax sewa 500 rupiah k rumah tetangga, seru nonton nya rame2, duh indahnya masa2 anak2 dahulu tdk seperti sekarang

Good thing TOEI uploaded the original Japanese version of Voltes V on CZcams. As a 90's kid, I already watched the English and Tagalog Dubbed of this series but not the original version. Hope that more episodes to come. ;-)

Still the best anime series of my childhood... The coolness, the stories, the characters, and all. Yes , it has the familiar monster of the week episodes, but it still has stories to tell especially about tyranny, oppression, and people's revolt against the borgeouis dictators. Something that Ferdinand Marcos hated so much...

My first mecha anime. Voltes V was a huge hit in Cuba. Unfortunately the series was never played, only the movies edition was shown. Nevertheless an entire generation was deeply affected and influenced by Voltes V. A big fan base still thrives in the island and in Miami.

It was those days of cel animations, and the quality maybe not as smooth as the CGIs of today, but this gives it a very dynamically unique quality that I still wont exchange for anything else. That is Voltes V!!

When i was little here in Venezuela they show this Ova of Voltes first season all choped and ended with Kentaro kidnapped again, i was so sad now in my 40s its that i know that it has a second season and was a full Anime, long live Voltes V the best Henkei Robot ever!!

As a kid I never noticed how deeply unfair the training regimen were: only the youngest one and the kunoichi are put in real life and death situations, while Ippei probably has the easiest life :D
I got to know robot anime through the Super Robot Wars saga, and since then, I've always loved it all! Thanks to Toei for making it available here on CZcams!

VOLTES V is best of the best anime robot! Thankyou TOEI. I grew up when i was a child with this series. The songs are also beautiful, the opening theme is bravely, and the ending theme is very touchy. Please upload all series or you can inform us how to get this series, on DVD's. This show was actually animated by Sunrise for Toei. Ever noticed the same blocky style of Gundam?

This Series has teaching us about the Love , and love is the biggest thing in our live. The Boazan Prince who they had fought for is His brother..if they know from the first time that they are brothers..they no need to make a war and be a family. The war has made they lost everythings. So make the world peacefull and warm with our LOVE..👍

The memories from this anime back when I was a kid in the early 80s...it was on video cassette tape. i remember watching this where my friends from the same neighborhood would gather every Friday after class and my mom would let us watch 1 video tape...this is also the cause I prefer Super Robot to Real Robot in Super Robot Taisen

I don't have a lot of good memories in childhood and Voltes V is one of the great ones thus, it will always be a part of my life's story. Also, it is one of the most inclusive animes, members of the Voltes V team are diverse (unique shapes and sizes, age, etc.)
This is one of the classic best animes in the history and need a Remastered Version ❤❤❤❤
