I live in India. Just a week ago, we setup 3kw solar system costing us INR 1,10,000 that is after substracting INR 78k subsidy. All the energy goes to grid. We have to pay energy company if we use more energy from grid than we produce. If my plant produces more than I utilize then they dont pay me back anything.

the problem is providers do not make energy cheap on purpose for corruption. Here in Australia our solar upfront cost for the consumer but the energy companies which got privatized owns the electricity that YOUR solar grid produces and dictates that price. At the start the price created saving difference now with the upfront cost of installation, and their prices of YOUR electricity cost of YOUR electricity makes it so that it pays back after 50 years of installation. Corruption due to greed is our problem with the climate not solutions, we have plenty of them.

The best thing to invest into right now is any AC company that is selling in India, be that an Indian company or a foreign company. A Japanese AC company (i forgot which one) recently got skyrocketing demand and so little supply that they already planned and started buying land in some states to manufacture them in India itself. Of course, all this is due to global warming. But mark my words, whichever company is selling ACs in India (an untapped AC market with 1.4 billion people customer base) will shoot up in their value and stocks.

    - This 2KW can be installed only by Officers lvl families wirth earning easily + Mid- Middke classes at max in some numbers, not all even at the mid lvl.
    - This Rich family installed 10KW, at least all rich can do this + upper middle classes too can manage 3-5 GW.
