Kumas PG 350 Electric airless paint sprayer review

- This video will unbox, set up, review, clean and maintain the syphon feed budget Kumas PG-350 Electric & airless airbrush air gun paint sprayer. With a 2.5mm nozzle this heavy duty sprayer is for very large surfaces normally reserved for automotive, industrial and home renovation application.
My intent is to use this hobby tool as a replacement of a much more bulky and expensive high output air compressor and spray gun. My first attempt is thinned cheap hard wear enamel paint but will further test with automotive lacquer filler primer or spray putty to fill in large 3d print printed X axis lines, scale model or railway layout dioramas or cosplay props and armor.
Other hobbist will find this useful for pottery glazes, wood work, art, textiles and shoes, dyes, RC, cake decorating, spray latex, two part resins or garden spraying. I would not recomend for fine works on scale models or gunpla them selves or make up, body painting.

Great video. Thank you for sharing this. However, at 4:25 in your video you take out the piston quite easily, but my piston will not budge. It just won't come out. I've turned it and pulled with considerable force, yet it still won''t come out. Any suggestions? Thanks in advance.
Plastic can be painful, my suggestion is place the paint gun in the freezer or fridge for a few hours then submerge the non electrical bit in hot water (bath tub or sink). This should trigger themo shock and break the seal easily with out effort.
@@mokanaman I'll try that. Thanks. At worst, with the low cost of parts, I can always order a new top part that this piston fits into. BTW, I have a SATA, which looks almost identical to your KUMAS. And I believe my painter used this SATA but didn't clean it properly, which accounts for the piston being stuck in place and won't budge. However, I see no paint at all on the piston. Thanks again! @@mokanaman While the thermo shock didn't seem to work, I decided to take more forceful action and tap the piston with a hammer. That worked! I've now got the piston and the cap soaking in mineral spirits, which I'll clean after a couple days. I'll follow your directions and oil what's necessary. But first I'll clean inside the cap with a dremel tool. I don't think a cotton swab will work as effectively as a dremel. Any comments? Thanks again!

Yes, slight orange peel or drip can occur but nothing high grit sand paper cant fix.

I'm painting 30-100cm items with it. This would also paint much larger surfaces like walls doors and fences. You may need to refill regulatory.
