Restoring a mini portable Blacksmithing forge that's been abandoned on this old farm for years. It's little more than a novelty but can forge with enough patience. Full forging videos and big forge build coming soon. Thanks for watching.

I'm glad you liked it. I should have a proper forging video coming soon and I'll definitely be making some blades. This was just a fun project but I don't intend to do any serious forging with this little guy. I'll be doing a big forge build video real soon. Stay tuned and thanks for watching.

That's a brazier for cooking with, hence those rings for supporting pots or pants. You see them used for street food in a lot of third world countries.

This was awesome! I wouldn't have remembered what goes where. 😂 I loved that you used the anvil that you restored from your earlier video.

I'm glad you liked it. I intend for my videos to have some overlap. I'll do a proper forging video soon to follow up to these two. Thanks for watching.

you gotta be really careful washing dishes on camera, my ole lady might watch this and start getting unrealistic expectations! Great video.

Glad you liked it. Was my longest one yet. I try not to ask much of my viewers and try to keep them short but I had to cut a lot of corners to get this one under 20 minutes. Thanks for watching.

I think you might find that your viewers won’t mind some longer videos, especially if you DON’T cut corners. I would have liked to see you clean up (or replace) the mounting hardware, but at the end of the day a working machine beats a nonfunctional museum piece. Looking forward to checking out more of your projects!

@@mrimmortal1579 thanks for the reply. You're right about that. This video has been my most popular long form so far and I'll be doing less corner cutting moving forward. I considered cleaning up the hardware but I don't plan to do any serious forging with it but am considering doing a survival type video with it of forging a usable knife without electricity using it and a hand crank grinder. I'm gathering materials to build a full size coal forge in my shop with an electric blower and exhaust. Should have a video on it in a few weeks and then I'll be doing some more serious work. Thanks for watching.

Some things are hard to understand.
After so much work, painting everything to make it clean and nice, the author just didn't care about the screws and assembled them with rust.

Typically when I restore something for myself I'll leave some part of it in the original condition as a testimony of how it looked before. A creative choice rather than an oversight. Sorry for the confusion I should've added a caption explaining this. Thanks for watching.
