I purchased my dream guitar last year too (Japanese) ‘84 Fender Flame Ultra,. For years I didn’t even know what it was called, just saw photos, replicas, knock off’s etc. but the Gibson(ish) inspired design with coil split and thin Japanese neck on a Fender really appealed to me. When I found one in pretty good condition, with the original case, I eventually talked myself into pulling the trigger. So far no regrets ;)

You should really check out the volume knobs from Q-PART, they got some crazy gold knob with a blue pearl on top, it would look absolutely stunning on this guitar

I love Ibanez’s, HATE thin necks though…I have an Ibanez artwood acoustic with a massive neck that I absolutely adore…was $300 and outplays my two Martins. Solid mahogany, grovers, open pore natural finish…insane resonance

Nice guitar, dude. I actually have an Ibanez rg550xh guitar that has 30 frets. That guitar is a limited edition, but man, is it an awesome guitar.

Do you know by any chance if the headstock its the same as a Jackson? I think the Jackson its a slightly more tilted than ESP superstrats but I'm not sure! What do you think?

I have lived in japan for years and really want one. I found a few online but they're always red lol. If I ever see one in a shop I'll pull trig on it.
I hate flashy guitars….that said, it’s a great guitar…nice playing too dude. All my guitars are boring…either natural finishes or black…I do have an all white Jeff Beck Strat which I love. For me, a matte finish with black/smoked nickel hardware is my go to. I have an Edwards LP is a satin purple finish…kind of looks grey, with a yellowed binding, put a Seymour Duncan 59 in the neck and PEGASSUS in the bridge

I've had 27 fret Hamer California's for over 35 years now. I have the same guitar as this guy too. I bought it used in near mint condition for 1462.42 USD.

I have a 2011 same color. The 3 extra frets are pretty much useless but look cool. The spacing of the single coil is just a bit too close to the bridge pickup but doable. I paid 1462.43 USD. The quality and materials are on par with a MIJ ESP. I have been looking for an ESP Edwards E-KL-170SE Kiko Loureiro. That's the nice one not the stupid lightning inlay model. Those are very rare and hard to find. There is on on reverb for about 3000.00 USD but that's too high. Enjoy your guitar brother.

@@rorycosgrove The blue flame maple is the only one I want. There is one on reverb for 2200$ USD. The bummer is there are import duties on it which will drive the cost up ridiculously.
This model was discontinued and hardly buy it.
I love ESP and Edwards but this guitar is hilariously fugly. They should come with a free pair of clown shoes, a Michael Jackson glove, and an alligator skin top hat. 😂
