WHY would Amy want to visit her ex and his mistress? I mean you can forgive people but choose not to hang out with them, especially with these two toxic people who clearly deserve each other.
She wasn’t his mistress,Amy is full of anger and put it out there because Matt called it quits and she didn’t see it coming.
I’m definitely with Amy here!! I wouldn’t really want to have any sort of relationship with my ex even if we ended on “friendly terms” & especially a big fat NO if the relationship ended the way Amy & Matt’s did. I don’t know what Chris, Matt, & Caryn are on but they’re crazy to think it’s perfectly normal to be “on friendly terms” when things ended how they did. In a way, I kinda feel that Chris is abusing Amy for forcing her to keep up a civil relationship when in most people’s mind, that’d be a HELL NO!!!! This is just my opinion 🤷🏻♀️
They have kids and grandkids together so that would just hurt them all if Amy took on that stance. She decided to be the adult here and act like one

Think Chris thought befriending Matt he'd get listing of farm instead Matt didn't have any intention of sharing wealth with Amy. The fact Chris can't understand how it's unpleasant to be around two selfish liars. They betrayed her she is far stronger than I am.

If I were to be in Amy's shoes and have to deal with Chris wanting friendship with her ex and his gf, I would be totally uncomfortable. My ex's are ex's for a reason. Just because I have kids with them doesn't mean I want to be all buddy buddy with them. Now I will never speak ill about their dads around them, even though they will trash me to pieces around them. But in the end, they do what they want and the same with me. Thankfully my kids are adults and can comprehend this. Their kids aren't dumb and know that their mother isn't comfortable with having to be all buddy like to their father. Chris just keeps pressuring Amy into such uncomfortable situations, that eventually she's going to explode with anger. If I were him, I would step back and think before doing anything that could potentially damage her and his relationship.
Its Always About Matt And What Matt Wants ...
I'm with Amy in that I do not want to put myself in situations where I have to be fake and don't enjoy myself. This is her ex-husband... it's not the same as sucking it up when visiting your kids but you don't like the person they married. There is no reason (beyond the show) to continue this interaction. After saying that, I hope fans of the show who go after Matt for not being "kind or thoughtful" also apply the same treatment to Amy in this situation - using their emotional "logic," these fans would say that Amy should just suck it up and be fake it to make it all work. At the end of the day, Chris can find other friends who don't create an uncomfortable situation for Amy. But this is REALITY TV :)

I am not friends with my ex but we share two children together so we both attend some family functions. We say 'hi' and that's about it. I would not feel comfortable co-dating with him but then again, TLC isn't paying me to do so.

Are Matt & Caryn married? She took up with Matt so quickly after the divorce which sends up smoke signals to me of prior already established "relationship" between her & Matt. If your my "EX" I don't need a friendship with you & certainly not with my new boyfriend/spouse. I just think Matt is just plain nosy.

Love Amy. Sadly, I don't trust Chris or Caryn. Why does Chris want to be around Caryn (and possibly vice versa)? This was Amy's relationship so it is solely her decision (not Chris's decision) if she wants to spend time with them. I've always thought that Caryn is hoping to end up with all of the land in Oregon. I've also always wondered about Caryn/Chris relationship?

Who are you talking about? Amy's not moving. She and Chris don't plan on moving until they hit retirement age. And Caryn bought herself that little house and moved out of her townhome. So, I'm not sure which one you're referring to.

She and Chris aren't moving until they retire around 65 or 67 she has said. Amy is actually almost 60 and Chris just turned 60. They want a country house with a few acres when they do retire for all the grandkids to enjoy and to be able to have large gatherings like she used to, she has said. A house with a master bedroom on the first floor and not so many steps because they're thinking about the future as they get older. But that's way down the road. I'm not sure why them taking that into consideration is such a big deal to you. You're only 24 years old from what I see on your channel so I guess you're too young to understand that making plans for when you do get older and can't manage the things you used to is a smart thing to do. I've been following Amy ever since she started and I've read her book and watch her live feeds. Don't believe the fake news online. If you want to know what's really going on you should watch Amy's live feeds when they come on.
BTW Amy turns 60 on September 17th. She was born in 1962 not 1964 like some website's state. That's why I say don't believe everything you read and hear online because they always have the wrong information on those gossip tabs and on CZcams, as well. I learn what the facts are from watching Amy's live feeds or get facts from all their personal Instagram posts straight from the Roloff's themselves. 👍😉😃

At this point I'm convinced of one thing....this is some bullshit,the other kids had sense to leave the show and the cupboard's were bare..a family meeting was had and it was decided to they would all put on their big and little plants and fake it for cash,fame whatever it took to give us a "show"....Amy is hanging on by a thread as she's just over this whole thing and when she decides to go we will put out of our misery 🔫.

Luv Matt’s humour and I think Karen and Matt are good together.
Why does Amy say "you didn't have to do all this?" Like just be grateful and thank her for the wonderful spread she took the time to shop for, cook, and make look beautiful for you to eat. Amy does this when Karen brings gifts 🎁 when she comes over too. Like just appreciate!!! Amy has had an easy life and she acts as though its been so stressful. There are tonnes of mothers in far worse circumstances than she has had. Ugh privileged women that dont recognize it make my stomach churn.

I see a whole lot of hate on Matt. But I totally understand him and how is sees things! My father used to always tell me that what is his is his and that you have to work to prove urself to anything! And I am grateful for his tough love, cause when I passed away he made sure his kids where secured!
