They aren't lying about the Mardi thing. I witnessed Mike get taken off stage by the cops during Mardi Gras Metal Fest at a club called Jimmy's in New Orleans in the mid 90's. If I remember correctly some dude jumped on stage and got hit with the mic and started bleeding. Those were the days. I want to say that show was Clearlight, EHG and Down. On a side note we got our stereo stolen out of the car for that show too.
i was at that show too. what had happened was some dude jumped up on stage , MIKE bein' fvkked up on whatever, picked up a beer bottle & just cracked the dude in the head with it i was in the back by the bar & saw the dude walk out......lookin' like he was in steel cage death match. some time later he came back with the police & when the show was over, MIKE walked off stage & was IMMEDIATELY arrested. I'LL NEVER FORGET DAT SHIT. sucks that ya car was broken into.....uptown/carrollton oak st. area was never an area you'd be worried about shit like dat happenin'.
I hung out with EYEHATEGOD, Soylent Green and Sammy McBride aka Sammytown.....and Mortiss....pulled out my weed with all them vatos .....I was 1200 miles from home....Laredo Tx to Chicago.... EXPO EXTREME 1997......Boyd Rice was there ...a young couple in SS panzer soldier regalia....pissed off the barmaid who she had a Russian, Eastern European accent...Sammy from FANG calmed her down....lit up like 5 joints ....Mortiss and his girlfriend were really down to Earth..... 23 years later hung with Dixie Collins Weedeater show....he was with Buzzoven at Expo Extreme and Sammy FANG 3 times and Sammy Duet from Goatwhore jammed Laredo a few times..... . ..
