Very useful. One time I was counter sniping using the periscope binoculars, pinned down by two, maybe three enemy snipers. A teammate started jumping on me, blocking my view, melee spamming me, and even sent me a message complaining about me "not doing anything." I don't know why he wasn't hit by the snipers that had me pinned, but I sent him a message telling him about it. He continued regardless, so I stood up, and my character hadn't even finished the animation for getting up when I got insta killed by one of the snipers. I sent the teammate another message saying to leave me the heck alone; he didn't bother me again
I remember trying a game where i just find cover and only use the peroscope to locate enemies for other people to kill. Surprisingly effective at times, other times, you mark five enemies for a medic running into an objective as you can only watch them become swiss cheese.
@perocigla4425 practice makes perfect man. I dont wanna sound egotistical but check out my BF5 sniping video from a few months ago, headshots are actually pretty easy for me, on controller too.
@@puripuri3876 5 isn't as much climatic and immersive as 1, but as you said, it's still a really good game. It's closer to BF3 in gameplay than to 1, although 1 and 5 are kind of like sisters.

generally pretty easy, especially on mouse. good practice is playing counter strike.

you aim like usual & still get a headshot, sometime i don't get this game...
Neck also counts as a headshot
He aimed at the top of the head, drop at 200 meters is not that severe
Does zeroing in helps at all?
Also gewehr 98 has very fast bullets, it feels like they fall less compared to other rifles
