Amazon Flex continues to be the backbone of my delivery work, these Morrisons blocks keep on giving! During a poor period on food delivery, these blocks are such a saviour.

Had a bit of a strange one today on Logistics, I had four parcels for delivery to an Amazon Locker which would not take any of the parcels either through scanning or entering the code. I looked at the locker name on the parcels and on the locker(I don't normally bother), they didn't match. Google Maps has the name which was on the parcels for that locker. Support marked the parcels as not deliverable and told me to return them.
Later on out of curiosity I checked the name which was on the locker to see where Google Maps thinks it is, it shows up in Sacramento, California 🤣
I do Amazon Flex in Scotland currently as I am training for another job. It is just a way to keep some income coming in while I do training. I am quite fortunate that I have two Logistics Stations, two Morrisons, a Fresh Station, a Co-Op and an Iceland within 30 minutes.
I looked at food delivery as well but I don't think it is worth it when Amazon Flex pays as well as it does and is guaranteed payment where the food delivery apps are not.
This is it - when you book an Amazon block, you know you're getting a decent chunk of money. With food delivery, you're gambling on how busy the day is going to be. Sometimes, it beats Amazon Flex (I made £208 on food delivery Saturday just gone, in 10 hours) but most of the time, Amazon Flex is the safer bet.
The Oooo pays real good even for basic grocery items from a local shop
Why would the food delivery apps pay more when they don't have to? If they were legally required to, they would just increase the food price for customers. So less customers would equal less orders. If people are doing this fulltime, that's on them.
Lots of compassion there buddy
@@simonfitzgerald8255 It's the world we live in
Yes they shouldn’t pay more than they have to. Delivery drivers should just stop working for pennies but they won’t. They will just complain how bad it is but work even more to make up for it which is very ironic
Hi mate hope your well can you please make another a day in the life as a courier including food delivery and amazon flex thanks mate😊
Food delivery where I am is mainly foreign immigrants doing it on rented accounts. I own a dessert shop in Plymouth so I see them all the time. I would say 90% is that. I've seen these guys/girls go from e bikes to mopeds to cars. I think the minimum a job should pay is £5 that would also stop some of these guys using multiple apps. Just putting my opinion out there.
Thanks for the content you put out been watching for about a year now.
It's been in the news recently - illegals can easily do this work as "second riders". Shame, because it's quite dangerous for everyone involved.
Yep, due to the nature of the job, and our boss being an app rather than a person, it's always going to appeal to people who for whatever reason, can't get employment. All it takes is a rented account and a cheap bike and anyone can make a living under the radar. I hope one day, it all changes. Thanks for supporting the channel and all the best with your shop - if I'm down Plymouth way I'll swing by! What's your place called?
@@autohustles Mega Shakes Plymouth always welcome 😊
My question is how many hours can do in a week for flex drivers in uk.
Which day blocks will start.
Hi pap who you insured with admiral etc i cant find anyone that accepts top up insurance
What car do you use?
Hi, great vid. May be a stupid question but do you not have to factor in tax too?
Thanks mate! Yea, I have to pay tax every year, but it isn’t a work expense. Everyone has their income taxed, it’s not a cost of the job.
I love doing food delivery in Copenhagen (part time). It is important to research: Money mindsets and side hustles. The trick is to keep the expenses low and invest the money in money opportunities.
What’s the most popular app there? And what’s the pay like? I’ll be visiting soon
@@ThePianoMan1999 I do Wolt. It pays the best in the weekends 5-8 PM and I can make around £100, 4-10 PM.
Foodora is another app, but its pandering to the LGBTQ community with their pink uniforms. So that's not a fit for me. You can do a picture search.
@@RadioIlluminaticom 😹😹😹 I have to wear uniform? For both apps? So how much could u make doing wolt full time?
@@ThePianoMan1999 You'll probably don't need to wear a uniform, but I haven't seen someone without it. Maybe it's just a danish thing, that we like to look sharp and efficient. We do share boarders with Germany, so we have a uniform fetish..
You can probably make £100 a day, if you work more hours. I don't do full time.
The Wolt gear is really cool and low cost. It looks so good, that girls are hitting on me, if I don't wear my scooter helmet.
I have a K13 Nissan Micra myself and wanted to ask what car phone holder you have? Been difficult trying to find one that holds over the round vents well. Thanks
I have the same car and got a wireless car charger from Poundland and it works well!
What is your other source of income that you talking about?
Have you thought about jumping on the taxis mate?
come on shun
Whats happening guys?? I cant see any blocks now...i'm in South West
Too many drivers on boarded, people with jobs doing this on the side.
If you check multiple times a day you'll see blocks - I'm South West too, I see Exeter blocks every day. No boosted rates or anything yet, but as it gets later into the year they'll start boosting as demand goes up.
How does this work if people order frozen food? Do you need a cooler box just in case or?
Morrisons have frozen gel packs they put in the bags containing frozen items - we're not instructed to carry them any differently.
If you finish your block before 1.5 hours on morrisons and fresh it sends you back to the store ..its not like logistics where its job and knock.
it does, but as long as you aren't SUPER early, you won't get assigned anything. Only happened to me once, when I finished by initial deliveries in 20 minutes and was only 10 minutes from Morrisons so it knew I had time to get back, load up another order and deliver it in time. In those extreme cases, I now just sit outside my last drop for a bit before I swipe finished. Hasn't happened since!
@@autohustlesif you swipe with 29 minutes or less to go the app just shuts down and you don’t even get sent back.
