Floating, Camping and Fishing on the Caddo River | Summer in Arkansas

I wanted to document this sweet memory of James and I's first float trip in Arkansas. Floating rivers is my favorite summer activity here in Arkansas. In this video we do a short 2 mile float through Caddo River Camping & Canoe Rentals. Our float trip lasted about 3 hours. It was $12 to bring your own tube and $20 to rent tubes. We camped right off the river near the put in spot and went fishing right next to camp when we finished floating. We both caught a few fish and then cooked an awesome dinner & ate it around the campfire!
While it was really too hot to camp in the van, we wanted to take it out in preparation for our road trip out west. We learned of a few things that needed to be fixed before we left and got an idea of how to make the space functional for the two of us! Stay tuned for more van life videos!
