i think what always separated the android experience from the ios experience was the smoothness and inclusion of extra animations on ios, so to see something as simple as an animation when unlocking the Mi 11 ultra was actually so nice to see, because now android phone manufacturers are realizing how much some people truly appreciate a little bit of extra detail like that. i know i do

@@DrHeroe the exynos 2100 is a huge step forward compare to the exynos 990 from last year but it's at the level of the snapdragon 870 so not bad and the overoll performace is the same

I have a mi 11 Ultra and I only have 2 comments to make! One is the battery warming! I have to say it might be your device because one of my praises on the phone is it's ability to remain cool during heavy gaming and phone use! Only other thing is the rear display selfie option is outstanding if you know how to use it great! The front camera does suck ... 🌝🌚 But yeah! As far as heating bit may be your device! Great video ☺️

Hey Adam! Thanks so so much for this - coming from a Malaysian, i've been itching and awaiting for a review on the Xiaomi Mi 11 Ultra - especially for Malaysia usage. However, my question is - Are you currently using the CN or Global version of the phone in your video? Based on the phone in the video it looks like the Global version with the extra back text. Cause the link you've shared in the description is for the CN version unfortunately :( Do you know or probably have an indication when the Xiaomi Mi 11 Ultra will release officially in Malaysia?

Watched a few reviews for mi 11 ultra. I guess they ignored the battery performance n overheating issue which you have honestly given feedback on. For rm1k less, in this regard, you do get what you pay for. Well done.

On mi 11 ultra has a much big sensor camera, and all three lenses can record 8k ,you don't said that. Bigger sensor bigger lights inside better photos in raw mode like a Canon
yes, sensor is big, but the lenses are not. It's only marketing. And if you compare s21 and m11 at night, samsung def win and he has smaller sensor, but better software and lenses. However, 8k? :D is just crop of 4k. It's not ture 8k. Also 4k on mi11 is questionable.
I also found that his video are more biased against Samsung, where I check other reviewers by other youtuber the results are different as for night shots Mi 11 Ultra clearly win in the game for that. Also considering the overall package Xiaomi comes with on other features where S21 Ultra is lacking but still 1K++ more expensive

Hi Adam... I by search of Mi 11 Ultra reached to your video... And I totally agree with your review about the Camera capabilities of that phone, although in general, I am big fan of the natural looking processing of Xiaomi phones pics... Still, I shall probably buy Mi 11 Ultra because I am loving that phone, no chance of S21 Ultra other than the better quality Zoom pics... Although Samsung processes the Exposure well compared to Xiaomi, their photos, no matter humans or buildings, look like photos only (Fake looking), whereas pics of Xiaomi look like REAL people (particularly) and buildings... This you can understand only if you are Nature lover! Still, big Thumbs up for the detailed review! 👍

Global Mi 11 Ultra is 1300$ in Norway now. BUT i just ordered a S21 Ultra limited edition 16/512GB version at 1650$. Return or keep 🤔. Currently using OnePlus 9 Pro

I put my phone face down every time. Camera bump makes it wierd to put on the back, and usually front is gorilla glass while back often isn't, so I am less likely to scratch it than the back of the phone. Also less dust comes on screen when it's face down on the table.

I have the Mi 11 Ultra and I hardly ever out my phone screen side down. I usually even forget the secondary screen exists
That screen allows you to take selfies with the primary camera or video it's not just for always on display
I waited for mi 11 ultra but after the reviews and test i bought s21 ultra... yes i miss the fast charging but still s21 ultra... is the best of two

I would say the Oneplus is more balanced overall and the one I'm going to keep but I must say that I preferred the colors and clarity in the Ultra camera more. But the device didn't feel well balanced in the hand and it got really warm duing camera testing and basic usage. The Ultra felt a bit rushed, Oneplus more realible and cheaper option imo.

I have both Poco f2 pro and mi 11 ultra, but the display brightness in direct sunlight is the same but Xiaomi advertised the mi 11 ultra display as the best brightness 1700 nits peak.

I don't agree being able to take selfies with the back camera is way better quality. Honestly I think it comes down to what you like. Both of these phones are beasts!
@@jacobm8732 I've seen reviews, including this one showing the rear camera doing a poor job with selfies. The rear cam is not flattering at all with skin tones.

S21 ultra if he did in depth comparison between the two it would have been more clear s21 ultra is a no brainer it has samsung dex and spen support as well has being able to extremely costimize your phone being able to download Goodlock and has an adaptive refresh rate which could go down to 10hz like they mi 11 ultra is ahead of one plus but not samsung yet they have always been the king of android

So, this review is super interesting, I owned the s21 ultra and have just recently sent it back as I just didn't think it was worth the money, super jittery software, poorly optimized camera app, slow charging, refresh rate feels 60 when set at 120, sluggish software and scarcely feels like 12gb of ram inside, exynos2100 is not the chip reviewers were saying it was and I was sorely disappointed, it has now put me off of android phones so I bought the Poco f3 which is smoother shutter speed is quicker and battery performance and charging is better as well as comparable performance for a quarter of the price. Honestly buy an iPhone if you're going to spend that kind of money, this is coming from someone who has been android for 4 consecutive upgrades.
Few things missed,
Camera
1) Low light and indoor lighting comparison.
2) Two variable optical option on Samsung, pic comparison between both at different but same zoom lengths on each phone.
3) Slow-mo option. Mi has better
4) Actual use of the rear display for photo on mi and vlog in the future update.
5) Color variations between 3 lenses on both phones while switching.
6) Multicam option on mi
Performance
1) Throttling.
2) Ram management
Display
1) Dolby vission support on mi.
2) Touch sampling rate.
3) LTPO on Samsung, dynamic on mi
4) Adaptive feedback
Prices not compared and customisation option on mi.
S21 is fully optimised after many updates while mi11 has had one so far 12.5.7 which is not the version in this review

I got a new lav mic called CANDC DC-C6 and I paid RM70. IS it a good mic?
I wouldn't know as I never personally heard of it neither have tested that microphone

I change the settings to EXTERNAL, do you know what I should do to reduce that buzzing
(I use a XIOMI REDMI NOTE 9S btw)

Im sold my mi11 ultra and bought s21 ultra exynos version. Well exynos? Haha i think its not much different when compare to sd888. What im sad about the mi 11 ultra is the phone overheating many time when im playing a game or im doing a street photography. But one thing i miss from Mi11 ultra is that, the super fast charging 👌 anyway, im watching using my s21 ultra 😎
