Mourinho here underlines the importance of distrubing opposition momentum by committing a tactical foul. So that it will brake the transition. That's exactly he meant by saying be nasty. Do what you need to do. Be clever and analyse the situation. Because in football, at the end result is the only thing which matters. There is reason many attackers admits Sergio Ramos is the most difficult defenders they ever faced. Ramos often makes many tactical fouls. He didn't even care about Red Cards and yellow cards. All he cared about stopping his opposition

Making fouls are ok , but Ramos don't need to kill the player , look at how Liverpool play , so many fouls but very less card , dont be hard on opposition players , be hard on their tactics. Make them uncomfortable in transition , Jose here is very right about transition.

  • @eezlummockelchev420

Jose noted this same thing many times to the players, this thing that everyone else ignores- Tottenham players, for throughout its history, have mostly been very decent blokes. Too soft-hearted *for the game*. Too nice.
You cannot be nice in the Premier League. And if you use this fact, now you know why they bottle so often. I don't know if its easy for everyone to relate to this but i can relate. When i played against my older brother in FIFA 14, we were both equally good. So it ended up on who's having the better day. So on my days, as soon as i started totally unloading on him, say, i'm winning 3-0, i'll look at his face and be like, "okay. 3-0 is enough; no need to deal unecessary damage." Then i'd be like, "no no no... don't do this mistake, you're going to bottle it". Finally i'll find myself an excuse to yield and say, in my mind, "if i deserve to win, i should be able to defend a 3 goal lead" and thereon i'll start to defend. And then he'd come back and thrash me. And i end up bottling it. So again, what caused my demise? I was too nice.
That's the thing i always wanted everyone else to note and so i am glad that José put it to perspective. Tottenham, post 2010, had a lot of great players. I appreciate the meme-culture but they overdid that so much, everyone started to believe it for real. Keep it real guys.

Ofcoz he want them to stop coz he knew it is effective so whats wrong with that end of the day is to win titles coz u r employed to do so everyone have their own ingredients to do so. Nice guys always live to end up last and die first in everything coz he never protect his own onterest and always looking out for others
