    As Harry Kane already said Jose wanted his players to be leaders, men but spurs players apart from few didn't really show up. And it's unfair you demand immediate success from Jose. I'm a liverpool fan but even klopp was given sufficient time. And team weren't bad. They needed another summer under mourinho and then would have been definitely in Top 4. Every project takes time. Even Guardiola suffered in his first season. And this is Mourinho's first full season. I think he would have won carabao cup. He needed some real defenders in that team. Alderwierald is good but others are not par. If you remember he targeted skriniar last summer. Levy is a joke. Should have given Jose more time. 2-3 signings and they would be real good. Should not forget he took SON and KANE to whole new level.

      Alderweireld was ageing as well. And given the money they’ve spent on sacking managers with mourinho and now with nuno to then hire conte who is a very similar character to Mourinho, they might as well have kept Jose .

      @@tombardsley3081 Exactly. And i though spurs counter attack last season was really good. They were top 2 in december. I thought mou's sacking by man u was fair but spurs really bottled it. I hope conte gets backed and given time. But seeing that its 18 months deal I think they are thinking short term.

    Mou speaks facts, I mean Mou tried his best to develop Dele Alli to be one of the best players in the league or at least top players, yet it all hangs with Dele himself who didn't tried his best or work hard enough, look at him now.

  • @stevendchu
    @stevendchu Před 3 lety +34

    The Mourinho method: Pick one talented attacking player who is "lazy" to criticize and exclude, to show the rest of the team that you are in charge and everyone has to adapt to your style if they want to play.
    At Real, it was Kaka.
    At Chelsea, it was Mata.
    At United, Martial (and then later Shaw, and then eventually Pogba)
    Now at Spurs, Dele.

    • @1992zorro
      @1992zorro Před 3 lety +34

      He was right, they're are lazy. Only thinking about their talent and never about their attitude to run for the ball. They wanted everything in a golden plate. Look only the difference between Ozil in Real Madrid and than Arsenal, Look at that Dwarf Sneijder running and fighting for each meter on the field, Lampard, everything can be said, even Deco. Footballers nowadays think they are influencers with their soft fragile mentality thinking they have more power than theh actually have. Pogba for example only plays well when he wants, Dele Alli is lazy only talent, Hazard you him struggling with fitness and Mata has disappeared.

      @@1992zorro first of all mata didn’t disappear he’s old he doesn’t get enuf starts and when he arrived he did his job pogba is inconsistent but look at him now he enjoys his attacking style of football and the tactical instructions given to him and he plays well every game hazard struggling with fitness is his fault cuz he uses a hammer to tear his ligaments every week sure and dele alli is the only one u got right there

    • @firstofrado8689

      Kaka’ failure was more on his injuries and the formation though. He’s supposed to play as CAM like in Milan. abut it’s impossible in Madrid because you’re already playing two wingers and you need two central midfielders for it to work. Kaka’s creativity is limited as a central midfielder

    • @PranavSettaluri
      @PranavSettaluri Před 3 lety +5

      No.. Kaka at that time was nowhere near to what Ozil was.. And don't get me started about Martial, he's lazy irrespective of the manager.. Coming to shaw he was injury plagued with bad performances and Ashley young served him well at lb.

    I don't think he was right to be sacked when he was but he did play his 'anti football' style at Spurs, which was good when we were winning but once that stopped (in the second half of the season) it was really tough to put up with. And that couldn't go on like that in the long run.
