What gets me is that the officers were “exonerated”, as if they had done nothing wrong, and yet we’re still paying out $2 million? Something very fishy there.

I'm so happy for these 2 young people. There's no excuse for what happened to them. The police have to be held accountable when they get completely out of control.

Leaders of the City of Atlanta aren't concerned with the safety of these students or the violence they suffered at the hands of Atlanta's Police Department. Atlanta leaders are focused on promoting a political agenda - nothing more. These two kids had nothing to do with the protest - they were merely stuck in traffic. That girl was tortured to make a political point. That's why Atlanta is paying $2 Million.

Wow 2million! Thats great! How much will the couple get after lawyers get paid or were they already paid? Hopefully they were already paid so they could get the full 2million.
Are taxes paid on settlement money too or no?

Where do they find all this money they’re awarding victims! is it money they confiscated? Because it appears they don’t have a problem paying their victims for their wrong actions

The law team is very thorough. Sad what happened to them especially being left on the street..I hope they can fully recover. And Atlanta, remember that new snake judge!

I remember when this happened. One of the officers stated there was a gun in the car and there wasn’t. They tasted them multiple times.

Why did Atlanta pay? I feel sorry for the kids but they knew what was going on downtown and should have stayed away. They was not going to get food downtown with all that was going on🤔🤔🤔🤔 So they got less than a million to split with attorneys fee's 🤫🤫🤫
