Ok. I normally don’t say things in these chats, but there is a lot of negativity here. We are all doing the best we can. I get that you are having problems. Well so am I, but I’m not complaining about it. I’m doing the best I can to make my situation better. And I am not going to feel guilty for being happy. I’m correcting mistakes I made years ago. And it is a great challenge. But what kind of example would I be setting for my son if I just complained about it and was bitter all the time. We are responsible for our own situations in life. On some level we attracted or brought that on ourselves. I found this talk empowering. So my question is do you want to stay stuck or do you want to be happy? I want to be happy. You can be happy and grateful in the worst of situations. Just look at our history on this earth. People have been through some really bad situations and still managed to get up and show up. I’m not trying to diminish anyones problems, but if you stop complaining about them and focus on a solution you will find one.
Also, If I suddenly find myself living my best life and having my needs met with extra to share I am not going to feel guilty about that. I am going take care of me and my son and share the rest and be happy about it. I also enjoy the life I have now and share what I have now when I can. And I am not going to dim my light to make others feel better. We are all responsible for our own well being and happiness. When I am happy and in alignment with my highest self I radiate that out to the world. What we put out we get back. I know because I practice it on a daily basis. And I see results. When I’m in a negative frame of mind I get back exactly that. When I’m joyful and appreciative of life that is what is reflected back to me and I am better equipped to handle challenges that come up.
Is it the optimist or pessimist who makes things better?
No one is telling you to feel guilty for being happy. But you dont get to invalidate the experiences of others to maintain your illusion.
@@mikey6214 the optimist, usually, I'd say, but sometimes they overlook the bad it may cause someone else. There has to be a balance. Humans often have blind spots!

Yes! ME Too! disabled and no doctors now in my small town and no one to help me, have a mystery chronic illness makes me weak and incapacitated much of the time except to barry do basic food prep and now lost my extra ebt $ that I got from pandemic, cuz apparently my northern blue state thinks disabled elders can pay bills housing food rent and live fine on only $1,000 month disability- Well, I struggle each day in fear of how to go forward and pray each nite that I die in my sleep- I wish all these good energy people could do more to help elders and disabled in this world and in this country to be more helped and taken care of. I feel invisible and have reached out for help to state etc. there is only a little help for 60 year olds in this country now…. and all my family and my beloved pets died in the last two years…
well, that’s my sad story- please pray for all of us who need help now…. blessings and love to all~

Reading the comments I just want to leave a side note. No Spiritual leader can change your circumstances or make it better for you. They can only provide you with the tools to make it better yourself. Everybody has their own Soul Path, somebody else can’t walk it for you. Take the teachings that resonates and apply it with believe and discipline. Blessings to you all.

Ok, that is not what I was saying at all. And, growing up as the daughter if a prominent religious leader, who was abusive, violent & emotionally unavailable at home; thats very confusing as a child.
I came to understand through the years, that most religious leaders, (not all) are varying degrees of deeply flawed & are, of course, very human.
So, I have never given over my power to " leaders, gurus, etc...
The power is within. Any true leader guides people, within.
What I was saying is that my personal experience in reaching out to a self proclaimed " spiritual" community, was one of real disappointment, and the ""Reverends" themselves & their various ministries do not truly practice that which they espouse- especially in terms of helping others. I had higher expectations - lesson learned, yet again. But I
I find it reprehensible.
Is Micahel Beckwirh an amazing & inspirational speaker ? Yes, no doubt.
And, he heads an organization where I experienced very poor and dismissive treatment from the people directlyy under him. I tried to reach him to express my experience & concerns, but he is " unreachable". That is all I was saying, & I felt compelled to share it.

I’m 70 yrs old. I’ve been living cosmic illumination, Christ like enlightenment. I have waited for this time, this moment of time and it is with profound MOTHERLY love & true GRATITUDE . I am open & receptive to teach others who wish to know how to be themselves during this great change. Every day is a great day , even sorrow & pain ( I have Stage 4 metastatic Breast Cancer). I have followed Michael Beckwith for years. I attended Agape semi regularly for years. I was even one who played my Native American flutes during the meditations, a few times over the years).
And although I do believe Michael is a transmitter, there have been too many things that have come up that beg some questioning about the integrity of Agape, & even of Beckwith.
Now, I AM a truth seeker & a truth speaker, so.if you don't want to get your feathers ruffled, and you do not wish to hear the Truth, then don't read any further.
For one, where does ALL of the money go?? All of THE MILLIONS collected / donated for decades??! . Beckwith is living a PHAT life! As are his " ordained" ( self proclaimed ordained, that is) ministers.
I reached out to several.of the higher ups, the "Reverends" and the ministries & community during the past few years, whilst going through the most extreme of hardships that one can endure; and I was treated appallingly and even abusively by some of them. These people DO NOT WALK their TALK.
Not only that but many of them are greedy & unhealed , have NOT done their own work, all under the guise of " peace, live & light". Agape is a religious " organization" just as any other organized religion.
Trust me, it pains me to have had this RUDE awakening and to write it, but I am COMPELLED to speak my truth.
I was never able to get to the "TOP" , to Beckwith himself, to openly discuss the matter and the treatment that I was subjected to. Guess that's not a surprise.
M. Samdler - I am relatively new to your channel and really am a fan. That said, I hope you abide by freedom of speech and freedom of expression, and do NOT take down my comment. People need to hear it.
Sorry to hear that and yes when some grow big or too big they forget those they should remember. I had a friend who went there also in LA and it struck me as a church years ago, more cult like. Good luck to you.
I want more honesty
I appreciate your honest comment. I've watched Agape's Sunday service, livestream, off and on for years and almost always get something good from Michael's sermon. Since Ricki left I don't watch the rest of the service. I've had some mixed experiences with members of his staff, too, mostly good but some were disappointing. People are people, no one is perfect. I have a lot of respect and admiration for what he has built up from nothing. I have no idea what he is like personally but I really don't need to know. I say "Take the good and leave the rest."
Yeah, I get that, but I have a pet peeve with leaders and "holier than thous" who DO NOT practice what they espouse .
And, especially in this arena, it makes it even more egregious.

so thankful for this conversation. Shortly after I turned 42 years old in 2015 I asked for something I didn't believe existed. I told Source there has to be true love in the world and I want to experience it. My awakening ensued and I was guided to move to a town named Phoenixville. Every fall the community built a huge wooden phoenix which the town all came together in a field to watch it burn. The town of transformation. I am so grateful for life! Peace and blessings

New subscriber here. I really resonated with the judging part. I always said we need a kinder world. So many are quick to judge someone’s appearance and make their own perspectives based on their biased views on how they were brought up. They miss meeting amazing people. All of them have a story and a life that’s worth listening to. It changes your life as mine has. We all have a story. The angels have helped me at many times in my life. I also would like to add I don’t believe in any organized religion or community that feel they need a collective to reach a state of consciousness or understanding with each other to make things happen for them. You only need to look within and the Universe will bring it, good and bad. You can’t have good all the time. But we sure do grow from everything that comes at us.

With all due respect, that's easy for someone like Beckwith to say, who makes a lot of money. My health is failing fast, no cure, and I'm getting ready to loose my housing because rent has gone up way too high for a single mom who is disabled and physically can not move to cheaper place. (p.s.) there are no cheaper places. My world is falling apart and there is no hope left. We have so many homeless on our streets in my town because housing costs are out of our reach... and we have street corners full of illegal immigrants who are begging for money when American citizens are loosing their homes. We are the forgotten. And nobody who can do something about it even cares because they are chasing the almighty dollar.

Am feeling for you it’s such a terrible place to be in. But hope and prayer is even more important and also asking for help you deserve to be supported 💖 there may be church and sulimilar organisations and government services to help with accommodation however small God always has a way 🙏
@Top Secret, I hear you. I have 2 friends that faced that housing crisis. One was homeless, and after reaching out for help on facebook for nine months, she found someone who chanted with her and things moved fast. She got financial assistance and a hotel room and food and then she got the resources to move out of state to affordable housing. I pray every day to find a path to providing affordable housing to all. Hang in there. Help will appear. Love wont abandon you.

As long as your personal bandwidth remains above contentment the majority of your waking hours everything you ever need will be provided. They have been on me the whole week! And then I felt attracted to the beautiful harmless display of fruit and vegetables last night and felt sooo happy! I am happy to enjoy them in my meals, today!
Interesting, that nature and natural products are obvious and instantly visible to the eye! And sugary commercial products are usually packaged and hidden inside!
Last night watching Inside Edition they showed a video of a large group of thieves running into a Nordstrom in LA and stealing as much merchandise as they could. I immediately felt sadness for my future grandchildren and wondered why are there so many bad people here on earth, and then I watched this video and it gave me back a little hope for humanity 🤞🏼🙏🏼 🌎❤️
At 9 to 10 mins....holding our place ...in the life force that wants to take over our life. Yep, a good reminder to let go, turn it over to a loving humoured power

One of the best hour and fifteen minutes I have spent in a while. How darned powerful and soul-elevating was this. The two Michaels who I love most did it again. Micheal Beckwith omg always speaks to me I related to the story of the rip tide and remembered my story when the car I was in rolled over. goosebumps I remember calling out for the car to stop. It did and we crawled out without a scratch. I call on them the Archangels, Spirit guides benevolent ancestors Angels Father God the divine. I do practise blessing my neighborhood silently and out loud. I look at planes flying and wish everyone well, I drive by the hospital and wish healing etc for everyone. I do live in gratitude and thanksgiving it's like breathing. Micheal Beckwith I have passed your messages to others out of the blue and the folks have been blessed. Today, I find myself in a state of concern about my friend's brain health. The bedtime affirmation practice feels good to me; and I'm going to start tonight with affirming my friend's excellent health. I'll be using this practice for myself, as well; but since my friend is foremost in my mind today, I will start with him. Thanks for this inspiring and practical suggestion!

Great podcast! I enjoyed all the comments, too, and glad people are questioning, thinking for themselves, a sign of awakening. I can see both sides, where they're coming from, each souling, or God ling is on a unique path. Some may have come to learn from suffering, and it is not as easy to improve their circumstances, as the thinking and actions that initiated it may be deeply rooted in past lives, but life is an experiment and it can change. There is cause for alarm, as the planet is in deep with wars and destruction of each other and the earth., I see a downhill spiral, even though I always survived, and was a hard worker, still feel lucky, but think, with wisdom, you can be happy and don't need so much material riches. The joy is in being love and helping others, not that I am totally there. I believe more miracles come out of humility, honesty and surrender. The positive thinking is at the tip of the ice burg. Deep inner work is key to all of it, including finding your right path. And that can take endless dark nights for our soul's growth. I learn to trust more as I go, the biggest challenge when you think you've got it and then life/spirit sends another curve ball.learning is endless process, and usually has a painful side to it, Mabey would be totally reset with a complete,hopefully irreversible kundalini activation. Earth school is hard work. We can't fool our selves, thinking itself is superficial. Otherwise we could either give up, or live in illusion of false promises, wasting our previous time here. These are just my opinions, today, and may change as I grow. The the difference with organized religion, everything's set in stone, and in life's practice, you learn and grow organically. Lots of light and love to all!!!
