At #LahootixAror in Sukkur, @sketchesartofficial performed their soulful rendition of “Aadhi Raat” for some school children.
The song, originally by Rajab Fakir with lyrics by Haji Saadh, has soothing, romantic poetry comparing a loved one to the stars.
The children enjoyed the performance, swaying and listening to the music and the story of love and its innocence. It was a memorable, intimate experience for all, connecting us to the Sindhi poetry through music.
