I believe its just a generic house cat which basically just means mutt in Cat terms.
If the momcat was orange the probability of an orange girl kitten goes up. Just due to how the orange gene is inherited.
Orange female cats are rare! Only about 20% of orange cats are girls. Lucky you!

The female orange cat had a litter of 6 only one boy all orange kittens
We brought the boy and one female ( who was crossed eyed )
When a ginger is a female they normally have some white patches.
💯per cent ginger female is much rarer.
Ginger cats normally called toms for that reason.

They are pawsitively gorgeous and pawsitively purrecious.
I got an orange female tabby with white bottom, a stray that I tamed. Its child is also a female with a tortoishell pattern (mostly black), and the child of her child is another female orange tabby (orange throughout). They all have a very long tail except for the third one which has it slightly shorter. The original one that I tamed has an adorable face while her daughter and granddaughter looked kinda high but also adorable nonetheless. Also, they all have distinct personalities.
Orange cats are always either the best cats or the biggest troublemakers! Can't wait to see them grow up and get more comfortable on the homestead.

Idk about having orange cats in the woods. They're like a beeping calling becon for predators. A landlord of mine lived in the woods and kept getting all white cats. They would disappear in under a year, her last white cat lasted 5 months. She finally got a marble tabby, and that cat still lives.
I think dagger will be sooo happy having more cat friends around 🐈
Up until now he only hissed at them but he has shown some interest in them
@@nourmolkbensalah3028i took my cat about 6-8 months to get fully comfortable with the new addition. They are very wary for the most part, i think especially with kittens as they may assume a mother is near by. But given he hisses and moves away and doesn’t actually attack them he’ll definitely be fine in the long run

also love that they're litter sitters too. it took us a good minute to get my cat to stop using her litterbox as a bed even though the house was full of boxes and beds lol
My kitten did this too! Why do they feel safe in the toilet!? I tried so hard to give him places to hide and feel safe, he eventually got the idea Haha
@@ZeranZeranI can actually answer that! Anxious cats feel most comfortable in places that smell like them. It has to do with the way they mark territory. The litter box smells like them, so it feels like their territory, so they stay there because they feel safe there.

I got 2 female kittens in November and omg i missed having cats. It's been 2 decades since I watched babies grow up like that and it's such an experience to get to know them and see them grow into themselves and learn their personalities.

Orange cats almost always have a sweet disposition and seem to get along with everyone and thing in my experience. I’m happy for all of you.

We used to have two cats that were half Maine Coon and half something else the ginger one was a jerk,he didn’t like anyone be they animal or people. His brother was a black and white tuxedo and the sweetest cat I’ve ever had. They both died young and it broke our hearts. Meanwhile our two domestic shorthairs are turning ten this year and both are extremely healthy. We live in Southwest Detroit so our boys are strictly indoors only. 🙂🐈🐈⬛💖🌈

Not really, both parents are red. If mom was a tortie/calico it WOULD have been rare, because the chance of the kittens getting a red x from mom and their red x from dad goes from 100% to 50%

Not really. 20% chance means a 1:5 ratio, which is AT BEST uncommon.

No, cats cannot get pregnant as early as 4 months old. Stop spreading vet propaganda. The earliest I've EVER seen a cat go into heat was 6 months. In the wild, 4 month old kittens are still nursing.
Before you try to "Um ackshully" me, I'm 33 years old and have had hundreds of kittens born since I was a child, born in the spring, which do not go into heat until the following early spring, 7-9 months later.

I built an awesome cat house out of boxes. It's more like a play mansion with holes, tunnels, and ropes. They love it and I know Nate has so much extra wood and stuff he could build them something cool.

Hey Nate!!! I've got a 3 week old male fluffy ginger that'll be needing a good home. His momma and his 3 siblings passed away after momma didnt make it back to them. "Rowdy" as I've been calling him, was the only kitten to find his way out from under my neighbor's porch. No one knew they were they're and by the time we figured it out and I dug out an opening the rest had already left thia world sadly, before they'd even known it.
I live in NE Tennessee. I plan on keeping him long enough to get him off the bottle. If you would like him afterwards I'd be happy to drive him out to you!! 🧡 He's been loving up on my old man Yorkie and i know he'd love Minion too!
I want to let this little guy live a wild life with lots of love - can't think of a better place or with better people

My female kitten fell in love with my big male dog. She would lick his ears and he hated that. Never attacked her; just growled. If she got stuck outside he’d worry and come get me to let her in.

Rare beauties! I have an 11 year old orange girl. They're seriously my favorite!
My dog was raised by a cat and shes small so she likes to lay on the back of the couch or arm rest. My buddys dad was so confused seeing a dog there lol. But i have two cats, brother and sister. Brother is white with orange patches and acts like an orange. Sister is this brownish orange and short hair, kinda aloof type. Brother is also long hair and loves to be held and will let us do absolutely anything with him.
My dog does that too! Wasn’t raised by cats though (even if he does act like it sometimes). He loves snuggling at shoulder-height for some reason.

Ginger cats are very smart. When I worked in a cathouse part of shelter there was a tall lanky ginger cat would jump up, turn the doorknob, open the door, and let all the cats escape 😂all cats like to be up high, too, observing everthing. They'll probably become the official homestead greeters. Just about every outdoor orange cat I've seen usually does. Orange cat energy is different, and takes some getting used to. They're not dumb, they simply choose not to be typical cats. It's so overall chill there, They'll be chill too.
