In continuation of my trip to India, @NomadShubham took me to the vegetable market in his village. I think it’s called a Hata, if I remember correctly? I stick out like a sore thumb, with people staring and whispering “gora!” (literally “white” or “light-skinned”).
Here in Bihar, they still use weighted scales, use newspaper as plates for samosas, and chop up fish in a unique way. A different way of life here!

Sahi bola bhai. Mere bhi gaon me aisa hi hota hai. Kisi ke bhi ghar jao toh kam se kam chai toh pilayenge hi. Aur agar me nahi bola toh bura lagta unko ki ghar aaya hua meheman chai bhi nai piya.

Yes indeed he is getting the desi taste of village dwelling. Simple but extraordinarily beautiful life we the city dwellers are jealous of. Yes ofcourse he must also visit the other places in Bihar and Jharkhand as well. Bihar is really a beautiful place. Never forget the 2nd urbanization begins in Magadh. So whole india is proud of Bihar and Biharis. 🙏
