- Garner State Park is located 1hr 33min West of San Antonio, North of Uvalde deep in the Texas Hill Country. It is located on the beautiful Frio River. The last time I visited Garner was 30yrs ago. You can enjoy Camping, hiking, swimming and fishing. Photos and videos taken with the Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra and the Google Pixel 7a.

Oh the memories. Being there every summer in the 70's.
The last time I went to Garner was probably back in 94. I've been wanting to go back and we had a great time! Although, every thing seemed to be closed, paddle boats, the pavilion etc. Probably the rain the day before, or off season

Old side for sure! In the video you can see it rained. I can just smell the river.
Is the river still dry or is it flowing?
At the time, it was flowing. They've had lots of rain now.
