I know you're pain . I got a wwd 86 Hulk Hogan belt . It was $200 from Pakistan. The belt was to be gold and sliver got all gold looked nothing like the picture. I can say the snaps worked though 😊.

i got a $100 big eagle off amazon, and honestly it wasnt bad at all. it had the WWF logos, it had paint in all the right spots, it had a 6th plate, it was curved. now its not some $300+ belt, but for 100 it was actually pretty good.

I take it as a learning lesson to only buy belts from either WWE Shop or an actual Belt company. The globe is so horribly placed in the middle, few missing jewels. When i look at Ebay belts i always look where they are coming from, what the plates are made of and if there are at least real life pictures from the seller themselves, most of the time bootlegs come from Pakistan and will be made of brass instead of zinc alloy and if there are real life pics i look at how the strap looks to tell of its bootleg or official WWE + others

I took a chance and got the NWA tv title from Amazon for under $100. I think they made a mistake. I got a 4mm belt. It was beautiful! I was expecting junk but I'm pretty sure they made a mistake and sent me a really good one. There is a dark mark on the red leather but that's the only thing wrong with it.

I bought a belt like that from ebay. The seller advertised with pictures of a different higher quality belt. The belt I received was similar to the one your holding with a few exceptions. There were misplaced and missing stones on the belt. I took photos of the belt and compared them to the pictures in the ad. I sent them to ebay and after several days of arguing with the seller I got my money back.
Yeah that's what this company MAXAN did. They used WWE Shop photos to make me (and others I'm sure) believe it decent to good quality. This is why I made this video for the unboxing and review because I wanted to TOFT. I am glad you got your money back! I know some people are trying to make a buck over there, but deceiving people is where I stop being kind. Just throw up a photo of the product as is! Thanks for the comment!
What's worse? Buying a ebay $90 terrible World Heavyweight belt, or an overpriced $400 WWEShop World Heavyweight belt that has the name "Ric Flair" on the leather LOL.

Glad to be of help! The belt is not awful, but the deception with the photos is what caused me to be critical. Stephen Hammer said a lot of bootleggers use official WWE Shop photos to sell bootlegs that are drastically different from the pictures on Amazon, Ebay, and others.
Was considering their NWA TV belt for $168. Not too sure about that anymore. Couldn't find Maxan stuff that was reviewed anywhere, so thank you.

The color of the plates remind me of the Jakks Pacific foam championship , as far as the middle plate there's not much of a curve.. but for the price , it's not that bad.

I can’t speak to the quality of their IWGP US Replica. I can say from my experience, if you pay less than $200, don’t have $1,000 expectations lol

I buy mine NWA domed Globed from Amazon.The side plate g9ld paint start to come out.the ring,button and snap start to rust.over time the button start to come.I am saving money to try to get from a respected beltmaker.the strap also sucks.start to come out the backing.

I agree! In my review of the belt I retrospectively state it’s way better as a cosplay belt and a belt maybe for a kid or teen. It was just a little jarring to see how different it was in real life compared to the photo on amazon’s site.

Hi Mike! It is not in any condition to sell sadly. I ended having to cut a set of leather off on the snaps on one side. The leather was stiff and it was cracking. Not sure what material it’s made of but I ended up doing surgery on it.

Yeah it’s definitely a great belt for the kids or cosplay! The issue stemmed from the seller MAXAN not providing photos of what you would actually receive. If you watch my full review you’ll see what they posted on Amazon for photos which ended up being way off the mark from what I received.

Agreed! For the price and in retrospect it’s not a bad cosplay or beginners title. However, the deceptive photo’s and the overpromised service/quality is why I ragged so much. This was more a PSA to people who may not know any better and see a WWE Shop quality photo but then get something completely off the mark. Especially when people think Amazon = Target and Ebay = Walmart. Some folks expect accuracy. Thanks for the comment!

Definitely better than a $20 plastic belt! However, this video was made more to TOFTT as the listings on Amazon a year and a half ago had pictures of (what I did not know at the time) of WWE Shop replicas.
I have no issue with the belt for what it is at that cost if they had not used misleading photos.
If they had used photos of the actual belt I would have been happier with the purchase, but the deceptive practices that MAXAN uses are what caused disappointment.
Had no expectations of a $300 quality replica but also wanted something closer to the pictures on the sales page.
This video was more of a test and turned into a warning for misleading sales posts on Amazon since at the time only ebay videos were on youtube.

These belts are hit and miss I ordered a ufc belt and the pictures on Amazon were screen grabs of the ufc store pics I’m pretty sure . I got it and it’s not perfect it’s actually based on a older model but still it’s pretty good a guy on here reviews one in the thumbnail he’s holding his head and it says what have I done on it , that one he got was not that good but I’m happy with what I got the official one is 600 or so I paid 102 for it they don’t sell the kids version of they’re big gold anymore but second hand they’re like 50 so for another fifty I got a metal and leather ish one lol I like the old wcw big gold belt I might order the one you review from what I saw the price is pretty good . I loved wwe and wcw but today’s wrestling just isn’t what it used to be so I stick in the past when this belt and the winged eagle were the top prize in the sport the newer belts and products I can live without lol

I bought a NWA US Title belt the red strap from Maxan and i was extremely disappointed nothing like the picture believe me the only good thing about it that they did give me my money back and told me to keep the belt Lol Funny thing about it they send me another US Belt the following week that surprise me and it was worst than the first one SMH LOL. I did get the NWA TV title from Amazon that came out out fine not from Maxan either!!!!

What the Amazon ad, description, photos, all showed was a decent replica. I wasn’t expecting jaw dropping quality as some people commented.
I was making this more as a take one for the team video, so if someone came across an Amazon replica, they would know what to expect.
I had never seen Maxan belts on youtube before and I did not see any Amazon replica’s either.

No sir! It’s from a Pakistani company called Maxan who sells on amazon. Though it appears they may be losing Amazon exposure as half their listings are gone from Amazon as of last week. WWE is starting to make better plates. Still crappy fake leather though.
