BLX100 ESC rip on 3s The stock ESC failed on me half way through filming yesterday. Replaced with an Arrma 3s BLX100 ESC. How will it go compared to the stock 120a Spectrum?

It goes so good I'm just not a huge fan of Short Course truck bodies. The Tenacity platform is proving to be quite durable for my style of bashing and it drives so nice, especially on 3s 💪
@@TheflyingkiwiRC True but it’s common for them Spektrum ESC to fail . Apparently it’s the Fan that packs up, You like me didn’t notice and the ESC cooks .
@@mark-1rc502 The fan had already packed up and had been replaced. The ESC was glitching a couple of days ago so I guess it was on the way out. Short Course trucks pull so much crap into them I'm not surprised the electronics fail.
Hey man, so far no issues with the outdrives. I've heard they can be an issue but no drive train problems at all. Most of its life is been on 2s only run it on 3s half a dozen times.

Yeah pity about the ESC lucky I had a spare and tbh I think it's just as good with the BLX100 ESC than the Spectrum 120a stock ESC.
I now am thinking I may have to research if my ESC can handle 3s on my new rig..cheers bro I would have smoked it like its 4:22!:)
The ESC on the Tenacity is rated up to 4s. It just died like ESCs do. I don't think it's a Spectrum issue, I've had Hobbywing ESCs fail too. 😕
