The reason for Naruto didn't get fooled by Jiraiya transformation was maybe bcs both of them a prankster.. prankster knew prankster better than anyone 😌
I can only imagine how Jiraiya *really* felt here to have finally met Naruto in person, considering just how close Jiraiya and Minato were, and the fact that Minato & Kushina wanted Jiraiya to be Naruto's Godfather. In a sense, this was probably akin to Jiraiya meeting his almost teenage grandson for the first time. He was probably having a lot of fun goofing around with Naruto chasing him down and just kept it hidden.
He reminded me of traditional characters in old fantasy war drama Japanese/Chinese. His design is so arresting and unique. Clearly not a villain or a filler character.

He and Orochimaru are based on characters from a traditional Japanese fairytale.
@@andrewvasquez7872 Tsunade as well. IIRC, in the fairytale I think Tsunade was Jiraiya's lover and actively helped him to defeat Orochimaru, or something along those lines.

Little did they know that Jiraiya would be one of the most loved characters in the series, and have the most impact on Naruto.
I absolutely love listening to the dude in the middle left. Him, the chick in the middle right, and the dude who's usually on here, but isn't on this episode. The three of them come up with fun ideas/theories. Their reactions are genuine and not over the top, they're actually interested, and it's clear that they're watching because they want to. The others have some of those qualities, but lack the others in some way or another. The folks on the top just look bored most of the time. The chick on the top right usually makes the same face through every video she does. Etc.
Anyway, by far my favorite collab reaction-based channel.
Some people were just having fun like you said, some do it for fame on yt or money sad but it the real world :C
And that chick in the bottom left just turns on her camera and starts eating for the rest of the video without any reaction💀
The guys on the top are The Normies, and they actually do like the show alot, I mean they're at Epiaode 483 of Shippuden now.

@@Xeno574 I am just now seeing these responses, lmao. Yeah, what JokerWNL said. It's not that I don't think they're enjoying themselves - they obviously do as they'll get expressive during some major moments. And I'm sure they're quiet because they're just taking in the story and all that - and with so many people, if they were all talking, it'd be chaotic and no one could hear/pay attention.
I just feel like if they wanted to just chill and watch the show, they could do that on their own time. They're not really reacting or engaging with the story. Nothing against them, just more of what I prefer when I watch reacts (and tbf to them, they're far from being annoying).

still remember at this point we all thought jiraiya was just a typical side character that have no important role for the show
That's why you got to watch this anime twice or even more if you're to understand at its core. Judging at their reaction, they completely forgot about Orochimaru putting Five pronged seal inside Naruto during Chunin exam. It's so easy to miss little details in this anime, specially when it's your first time watching it.

I don't understand what people resent about Jirai. There's nothing wrong with his hobbies. Artists admire women's and men's bodies and nature in general too, so there's nothing wrong with that. It's cute and, as he said, he admires the beauty of youth.
I think it's more that he's spying on women without their knowledge or, more importantly, *consent* that they take issue with. Seeing a woman naked without her knowledge or consent is a massive invasion of privacy, and if nothing else their own body should be the one thing they have absolute control over, including who gets to see them nude. I mean, how would *you* feel to find out that a total stranger had been spying on you without your knowledge while you were bathing? I highly doubt you would enjoy it.
Jiraiya's a great character, yes, but this particular trait of his is pretty much his biggest character flaw.
