- In today's video, I Survived 50 HOURS in DayZ... Here's What Happened. Dayz is an extremely difficult open-world zombie survival game where you must use all of your skills to survive. This game is extremely realistic where one mistake like not washing your hands before you eat can lead to your death. On top of surviving the undead and fighting hunger, you also need to worry about other players. Killing other players can give you a much-needed advantage but It can also let other nearby players know where you are. This game is very unforgiving and you will see in the first 20 hours is a lot of learning but I eventually get the hang of it. And with all of that being said let's spend 50 hours surviving Dayz. Fr on my first few hours I remember getting trapped in a metal crate in a stranded town with zombies all around, and then I heard gunshots and talking. I knew I was most likely gonna get shot in sight so I accepted my fate but was pleasantly surprised that not only were the 2 guys chill AND fully geared with military gear but they helped me regain my stats before we parted ways

@@kebabsanu2421 kinda stating the obvious but theirs tons of youtube tutorials, but main things to worry about, finding some food and water, keeping warm and getting at least a semi-decent starter gun

I remember the first time i played rust, I got onto the server and met this guy who has played for ages and he taught me everything i needed to know about the game. We were alive for hours and found another guy that was really good at the game, and the 3 of us decided to go take the military base and as we got in there the guy that we found got shot in the head and killed. So we ran to hide in a storage crate and the guy who taught me everything told me to wait there as he ran out to kill the sniper, I then could hear a whole lot of gun shots for ages and then it finally stopped. That was the last time I ever saw him.

ive played 2000 hours of dayz, its refreshing to see a new players perspective and approach to the game, u rarely get to see that on yt. pretty much every dayz yt video is made by people with 5000+ hours
How do u find food in a populated server?
@@AAA-xh1gu if u cant find food on the coast, go inland asap, if u still cant find food by looting, then listen for animals and hunt

Bro, when it comes to the infected. Coming from a solo player who plays on a personal private server. When in a town, go inside a house with a lot of windows on the ground floor, make noise, then smack all zeds through the windows. Also you gotta utilize the crashed military trucks, climb in the back and the zeds cant hit you

You can block zombie attacks bro. You'd get a lot fewer cuts. They always do two attacks in a row, block them by holding right click and S at the same time then hit them. You can stunt them with power stroke, it's shift by default.

guys if anyone wants to start out with dayz go watch some crafting tutorials and maybe zesty pollo so you can get the basic idea of everything when i was beggining my adventure in dayz i didnt know what was going on so these little tutorials and watching more experienced youtubers is really REALLY helpful

I remember starting days 😂 good times. I would never to see nwaf, It took 4 months to see tisy in person. Then died. The process gets fun after excruciating hours of learning
The being kicked of servers is normal they shut down and reboot after a certain amount of time, if you wait a couple mins and refresh the server will be back up and running

Tip:if you find new clothes as a fresh spawn the transfer your bandage and the pear or apple into the new clothes and all ways eat the starting food already in your inventory because it rots quickly so eat as soon as you spawn

When you didn't pick your Stuff up after you dropped at the Start That was a big L you need those Bandages and Glowstick.
In hour 41 when you got knocked out, I'm gonna guess you were shot in the face, not the helmet. The helmet will cover and protect your entire head, but if you are shot in the face and have a face covering such as a balaclava, or that helmet visor, it could absorb most/all of the damage instead of your helmet. I could be wrong, but that's my only explanation. I'd assume the guy thought he killed you when he saw blood, and was perhaps advancing on you when you woke up and retreated.
Good progress, though. You learned a fair bit during your time.

Right before you found your first glock, when you were drinking, that was a working car on your left. Absolutely painful to watch that lol.
Heres a few tips from a 3500 hour player for all you newbies out there:
Dont sprint until your food and water are white.
Never shoot zombies unless you're on a sandbag at a high tier military area, and only if you have a suppressor and ammo to spare. Only break this rule in extreme emergencies.
Its DayZ tradition to bully new players. Every veteran has their story (i was kidnapped and fed gasoline). Never trust random people, they WILL kill you.
IZurvive has a toggle-able setting to show loot tiers. Higher tier means better loot.
Sandbags at military areas are safe to jump on, zombies cant get you up there.
Press shift + punch (on pc) or LT + Y (xbox) to do a power punch. Does knockback and can stun-lock geared players and kill them

@jcap7_rl14 sorry for late response, but only modded servers have a map. However if you find a tourist map and GPS, you can turn on the GPS, and when you open to tourist map, it'll tell you where you are.
You’ll get better . Official will start to get easy . Then you’ll have to look for the hardcore servers lol FYI!! Learn how to do your haymakers and uppercut combos

It is not guaranteed that you will get infect. I recommend you craft bandages from pristine clothing. I fell it reduced the risk of contracting something
Space bar flips items in inventory and you can click them into inventory instead of dragging and you can hold ctrl and click items out
I remember when I first started playing DayZ I played for about 5 hours and gave up for about a year or so so I did some research on learned some stuff now I'm 3000 hours and have a love hate relationship with dayz

ik im late but theres a pretty easy way to fight zombies without taking damage, dont take on more than 2 at a time and walk backwards holding right click it will block their attacks, wait for them to hulk smash the ground and u can get acouple hits in and repeat

The airfield you went to is good that's Krasno airfield if I'm correct which gives you all the medicine and medical supplies you could possibly need
Hearing him saying 9 hours led up to this and imagine I got the third guy is how we all feel when we play this game. Like one time I killed three but missed the fourth in a 1v4 and it was the greatest adrenaline rush of my life.

my first 250 hours was from Deathmatch and heavly modded servers, ive got this same experience at 250 hours but i was ready to shoot, i barely couldnt survive but surely i can hit the enemy... i felt ashamed 250 hours and cant even put a fireplace down ahah
Honestly I think you should start on community servers just to learn and then move to official it lowers the learning curve
7,000 hours in and i still keep accidentally circling back to the cost lol

As a 3500 hour player, I can say he's not good at all. But we were all there at one point, and the only way to go is forward.

When I first played this game it was on xbox one. 30 fps and controller aiming. It was fun but god awful to control sometimes.
Its much better on next gen, 60fps. Controller does make inventory management more tedious. As for aim, atleast everyones on the same page. Oh and no hackers on console.

When I first discovered this game I watched a bunch of videos and said ok im buying it and said ahh this is easy lets go. little did I know I died and died and died and died some more 😅 this is hard hour 100 I was comfortable by hour 500 didn't really use the izurvive map and me with a tuna can I was a killer buy hour 1000 im vet and i started on console which everyone is an asshole mostly now im on pc
Your not even a vet at 1k hours and since you came from console you have alot more to learn on the modded side. Im 6k on pc and im still learning a vet is at least 5k hours in the games been out 10 years all in all so yeah thats still a very little time you have played and theres like 20 maps so you will be back to using it again soon. You're just past the noob stage
