To note: There's also a 4th solution that can only occur when the Blood Moon is active (random event outside, where the sky is red and the purple wisps spawn that give you Blood Moon Essence when defeating them). If you complete these puzzles while the Blood Moon is active outside, you'll get some extra rewards and an achievement for doing so. It doesn't make a difference to the puzzle solutions, but it will only occur when a Blood Moon is active outside.

If you do the second puzzle with the blood moon, a trap door opens in the room with the chests.
I can confirm I randomly got the extra loot from the blood moon event, it the room with the 2 chests the floor opens up to a ladder you can climb down and I got 3x blood moon Essence and RING OF OMENS ring, thanks again 👍🏻

Agh...I was hoping these puzzles wouldn't be required for achievements so I could just skip them entirely.
Dude, seriously you made it so easy just by doing it start to finish no cuts no editing just step one all the way to the end. Thank you so much every other video I saw made it so confusing.
Handy Quick Reference Guide:
Pull order = SOUTH (entrance), WEST, EAST each time
Pull amounts are as follows (must be done in order):
3, 5, 1
4, 1, 3
3, 2, 4
Instance must be FRESH, meaning you haven't messed with any levers yet. It always starts out the same.
If you already have the bow, picking it up again only gives 120-150 scrap (can't remember the exact amount).

Just to let you know. (I found this out by accident following your guide while a blood moon was active in the dungeon.) Opening the second door caused the floor in front of the two chests to open up to a secret chamber. Inside was 3 blood moon essences and a Ring of Omens.
Is the Blood Moon random or is there a way to trigger it?
@MissingReel732 random. Entering an area has a chance to do it so just leave and come back till ya get one
i did it too, but got the blood orbs without the moon. the achievement i got was find a blood orb room or something along those lines
I have a blood moon and the hatch didn't open, bad luck
How i know there is a blood moon active?
To bring everyone up to speed on why they can’t seem to get the ring from the blood moon door, it appears to be bugged. If no wisps spawn in your adventure mode run then it will be impossible to open the trap door, as their presence appears to be required for the trapdoor to open. This doesn’t seem to be an issue for campaign mode though.
I suggest rerolling until you get both the Cathedral of Omens area and The Dappled Glade checkpoint (they seem to always appear together if you start in The Red Throne). Once you find it, start entering and exiting Yaesha by The Dappled Glade checkpoint until you get a blood moon. There are usually multiple sets of wooden structures near this checkpoint, so the wisps should be easy to find if they do spawn. If you find no wisps after the elapsed 10-20 second spawn timer, your world attempt is dead and you should just reroll the adventure mode until they do spawn. Then just move around your world as normal until you find the cathedral and wait an hour or two for the blood moon activation timer to reset. BE SURE TO NOT COMPLETE THE PUZZLE ONCE YOU FIND THE CATHEDRAL. There also seems to be a glitch where if you complete the puzzle and then come back during a blood moon, the trap door will also not open.

I did this by accident unless it unlocks with the chest door but the symbol near the two chests on the floor did open up for me and give me a ring and 3 blood moon essence
I think that only occurs when there's a blood moon in the zone outside (when the sky is dark and purple essence flying around that give you blood moon essence when completing it). So it'll be a bonus that happens by doing these puzzles but the blood moon is active in the area

Is anyone else unable to get the omen ring even tho you got a blood moon?
It seems to be a glitch that can happen sometimes. Either that, or if you’ve solved the puzzle before and re-entered the area when you got a blood moon, the door still won’t open.
I conplete all 3 puzzle. But theres one more that lock
What's about the book page "The Beginning", did you find out how to solve that one?
I think that solution is how the puzzle is setup when you first enter to help with the clues

Unintuitive puzzles ruin otherwise great games.
Not sure when developers will wake up and learn this.
There’s a book in the back room with some vague descriptions and clues to the order or the shapes and the arrows should be facing by symbols above the doors. The puzzle is fine, just takes some room reading and a lot of time and guesswork
@@itsGreyHat Yes the book is the first thing I noticed other than the triangle symbol on the door above each room.
What's unintuitive is where you put the black circles, or what they are even supposed to represent, or what "above and below" would be as reference points.
The problem is I could read that book and come up with multiple interpretations of where to position those symbols.

First and last puzzle must be done when the blood moon is inactive...it will not work if blood mon is active as happened to me
2nd puzzle must be done when bloodmoon is active as it will also unlock the basement door in 2nd puzzle reward room
To active the bloodmoon simple exit the area and look at the sky if you see red moon thats mean blood moon is active...if its clear sky thats mean its inactive
Keep going back and forth untill you see blood moon
its uswelles because there are three switches and you dont tell witch one of the 3 to pull
Only one switch lines up with the symbols. So if you see him do a switch and this symbols are directly in front of the switch you can figure out which the other's are. The first one he hits is in front of the doorway you come into that room from.
The first one is always from the entrance of the room, and as the other commentor mentioned, each switch controls specific parts. So it shouldn't be too difficult to figure out
It’s random
The puzzles in this game as complete trash and ruin the experience. No guidance in the game really, not much action so far, the bosses are the best part of the game but inbetween bosses the game is very average and a 6.5/10. Returnal is waaaayyy better level design and fighting compared to this game.
